Wow, been looking at cool mata stuff for a very long time now. Like, years? Oh well, when there were only 2 mittens animations. ^.^ Oh, the name is Jess (or Ziv as what commonly ends up being on forums and such). I'm from the US but currently studying at Edge Hill in Ormskirk. Finishing first year of college. Majoring in dance performance and psychology. And, it's Easter break now, so out and about like most of the Americans on study abroad, going -everywhere- in Europe. Dislike most English food (sorry, t'is much too bland, but curry is nice). Japanese and Korean and Chinese are my favourites.

Not new forums in general as I mostly stick to Little Gamers (swedish webcomic) and Applegeeks (self explanitory). I like video games. Mostly Final Fantasy everything (except 8). Bemani games (DDR/Dancing Stage). Zelda Four Sword Adventure (damned Neil for getting me hooked). I'm a (classical) music nerd. And parenthesis rock.

And now I shall stop babbling. ^.^

Oh, and cherry pie and apple pie are the two most bestest things in the entire world.

Yet people wonder why we have so many different nationality restaurents!! Then again, what would you class as English food? If you have anything against a Sunday Roast then you and me are gonna rumble sunshine! And really, whats wrong with a full english breakfast? egg, bacon, sausage, beans, toast, mushrooms, black pudding...mmm...ok, now I'm hungry. (Curry is an English word for Indian food or derivatives there of.)

*mutters* damn colonials getting all uppity again

anywho, welcome!

Welcome to the Matazone Experiacne. Please keep all limbs inside the thread at all times. Thank you!

*poke* I happen to like most parts of a full English breakfast... except the beans and the black pudding and the sausage parts. I don't eat beans or sausage at home anyways. English bacon and scrambled eggs are far superior to American, though. And I think it's northern English food that I hate so much. I can't find salmon anywhere in Ormskirk for some reason. But the food around London is decent. Just I get sick of eating chicken burgers, chips with sauce, and beans and potatoes all the time. *shrug* That's all really. It could just be uni food... or lack of decent food in Ormskirk...

And, what's this Sunday roast thing?

Posted by: Samorine Mar 13 2005, 05:44 PM

A Sunday Roast is a roasted meat... usually lamb or beef or pork, sometimes chicken. With roasted and/or mashed potatoes... There's often a variety of veg... carrots, turnip, broccoli... and gravy, of course... with yorkshire puds...

Hi, welcome to the forums. Now, on with the traditional greeting.

*tapes zivane to the ceiling and runs off*

Have fun now. smile.gif

Theres nothing more british than a proper Fish and Chips though. Tell me you like Fish and Chips, fresh from the takeaway, covered with salt and dripping with vinegar... ah! nothing better.

Welcome, indeed, to this fine zone of mata-ness.

oooh, uni food, uni food generally sucks, the stuff they have at the Union where I am is pretty good but the crap they serve at the canteen thingy is dire. Black pudding is nice though...well I like it

Posted by: zivane Mar 13 2005, 08:30 PM

Black pudding seriously creeps me out. Well, the only time I had it. It just looked like a really soft black hockey puck. And tasted of cardboard. Gross.

Uni food is generally fine if I stick to the veggies and omelettes and paninis. And our diner thing just has super gross fast food (except spicy spirals - YUM!)

And what's with taping me to the ceiling? It had better be duct tape!!! <3 Whatever happened to pie... Pie is good for new people...

Posted by: Sir_Psycho_Sexy Mar 13 2005, 08:37 PM

... lil' pie fairy gives out pie....it's her thang, I think it's just people here have trouble showing affection...or they're a little crazy....yeah...probably both

(we have had many newbies in a while, we're outta practice)

Welcome to the forums! You will notice that we can be a bit strange sometimes, but you'll get used to it.

Of course it's duct tape! I accept no imitations.

Arthur The Pendragon welcomes you to the forum, and asks if you'd like your kitten customised... we already have two flying kittens on the grounds, so maybe something in a nice racing stripe... laugh.gif

Seriously, though, welcome aboard... A handful of us, in addition to having animal screen names, also have imaginary animals... the more fanciful, the better... just part of the madness that is Matazone. As the song says, "If we couldn't go crazy, we'd all go insane..." (Hmmm. Perhaps that should be nominated as our official themesong?)

Happy posting!

That could be arranged... Arthur has already given a kitten wings, given a duck a voice, and made other kittens turn cartwheels and sing like Celine Dion... Purple or pink (Or purple and pink) shouldn't be a problem...

Just talk the hamsters into bringing back the pinball machine, and paying for the beer, and I'm sure everything will be fine...

Posted by: dancing hamster guy Mar 16 2005, 11:03 AM

Sure, I've seen the traps ...

for now the pinball machine stays with me!

Well hello there,

I'm The Ange. Welcome, welcome!

*hands a.......large peanut????*

Ok, so Tobias has been into my things again......sorry 'bout that, guess that means you won't be explosion-proof. Maybe you can hide IN the peanut shell? happy.gif;
