Hi, I'm Rae, some of you (2 of you) know me from the RavenGuard.

Well my forums got hacked, can I have a tiny space to camp here?

Posted by: Mata Aug 9 2005, 03:22 PM

I think there's a bit just past the turnip field, but mind you don't scare the sheep. *waves pitchfork*

Posted by: SPEAKERfortheLOST Aug 9 2005, 07:24 PM

welcome aboard....

*whips out duct tape and tapes Rae to ceiling*

now that thats done...

when you unstick yourself from the ceiling come visit the Matabar... its fun there...

*offers small muttering matchbox*
This should help with the orientation phase of forum life as well as being a handy emergancy device with multiple functions. A bit like a swiss army knife on legs...oh yes and with a smidgeon of attitude, keep it happy and fed you'll be fine. tongue.gif

*hands over any-flavour-cookie*
As long as you save a bit for the scuttler you'll be fine with this it ought to last until the next forumite comes bearing gifts or till the tape breaks, either way Im sure you'll enjoy yourself.

Anyways its good to see you finally made your way on here. Welcome. Have fun and if you get stuck PM someone their all lovely around here...a little odd occaisionally but almost never dangerous. biggrin.gif

Posted by: Cath Aug 9 2005, 08:59 PM

Hmmmm........ What do we have here......... someone looking for camping space? Well this should help *sticks granade to Rae* It'll either clear plenty of space or make you in to such small pieces that you wont need much evil.gif *pulls pin and wanders off* Have fun! biggrin.gif

There are many loving bosoms here. I recommend camping on one of those. They're soft and warm and fun!

Any takers for ol' PsychWardMike?

Posted by: Quoth(The Raven) Aug 11 2005, 12:45 AM

Welcome! Watch out for sneaky hamsters, Flying Cats, and flying mice... Oh, yeah, and we recently had an infestation of flying skulls... (Don't ask)... all of the above are (Mostly) Harmless...

Posted by: PsychWardMike Aug 11 2005, 02:32 PM

Bosoms!

Posted by: Quoth(The Raven) Aug 12 2005, 02:10 AM

Hmmmm. I forgot to mention the flying lizards... Though they haven't been much in evidence, of late... I think they're laying low, until their numbers increase...

Posted by: Quoth(The Raven) Aug 12 2005, 03:51 AM

seriously... like the Guide says, we're, "...Mostly harmless"

Posted by: Wyvern Aug 15 2005, 06:46 PM

Mostly???
Have you been in the same forums as me...I mean have you not noticed? Physically you are in absolutely no danger at all, what so ever, but psychologically? Well...I suppose we dont all twist and corrupt things, some of us just twitch....

*blinks nervously and skulks off into the shadows giggling*

Posted by: CheeseMoose Aug 21 2005, 03:16 PM

Yo Rae, glad you could make it

MINE!!!
*snatches small noobish critter and stuffs under a beanbag*
We'll soon drive the cuteness out of this one. Cath you interested in a spot of noob terro..ahem..I mean noob training?
Most definately mine as all the others have learnt so many things or dropped of the edge of the known world, never to be seen again.

Note: At some point I reserve the right to auction off said noob if it becomes to much of a handful. wink.gif

Posted by: RaevnKite Aug 21 2005, 06:43 PM

That was quick.

Bleh.

First duct-taped to the ceiling, now stuffed under a beanbag.

Hehe if Cath comes along does that mean I'm the noob of two people?

Could be fun.

Posted by: Cath Aug 21 2005, 07:29 PM

*Wanders in picks up noob by scruff of neck. Pears at and turns round pokes, checks teeth* Hhhmmmm...... might have pertential. *hangs by ankle* Hhhmmmmm..... *pokes some more* Ok this one'll do. I think we might just be able to do something with it. *put's collar on noob and drops*

Posted by: Wyvern Aug 21 2005, 07:31 PM

I like the collar idea, it can't run too far or too fast with that on.

Step one in noob training has begun methinks. biggrin.gif

Posted by: RaevnKite Aug 21 2005, 07:56 PM

No way!! You cant put a collar on meee!! Im too damn innnocent!!

I feel so small.. and somehow I know this is gonna turn into some bondage thing.

*shivers*

Gah... Whats step one?

Posted by: SPEAKERfortheLOST Aug 21 2005, 10:51 PM

*silently walks in and hands Cath and Wyvern two very large rolls of duct tape*

*Makes a sharade style imitation of duct taping Rae to a bed*

*walks out silently*

Posted by: RaevnKite Aug 22 2005, 03:54 PM

Duct tape... it's so beautiful... Unless it gets me stuck to various ceilings...

*cries*

Posted by: Quoth(The Raven) Aug 23 2005, 01:43 AM

Hey, there! Just remember, in an emergency, your scuttler can rescue you by dragging you inside it's matchbox... Just by living in the match box, they create a tesseract, folding space within, to create a much larger space inside then out... making the matchbox virtually indestructable, at the same time...

Of course, it helps to be on good terms with your Scuttler... because the Scuttler retains it's size relative to the matchbox... meaning that, inside the matchbox, the scuttler will be bigger than you are...

Sweet dreams! Bwahaha!

Posted by: Cath Aug 23 2005, 10:39 AM

But you forget all scuttlers are initially answerable to to Wyvern.

Posted by: Quoth(The Raven) Aug 24 2005, 02:03 AM

Well, that just means that the Scuttler won't protect Raevenkite from Wyvern... afterall, the Scuttlers know what side their cookies are baked on...

Posted by: Astarael Sep 1 2005, 02:24 AM

Cookies are baked all the way through, but more on the bottom of the cookie. Heat from the pan will blacken the bottom because of the contact. So... cookies are baked on the bottom. Everyone should know this. dry.gif

Yes but have you not noticed around me that things tend to happen from the least expected direction?
Scuttlers know this so they know not to assume that a cookie will be baked as normal, have you not come across my special patented backed edgeways on cookies?

*adds to the duct tape layers around Rae, nods in a satisfied manner and whispers several new instructions to the colourless scuttler*

Anyway how goes things with my noob?

*smiles, stalks across to a convienient mantlepiece leans and observes the room*

Posted by: Astarael Sep 5 2005, 04:01 AM

If you try to cook a cookie edgeways then it falls over into a little blob unless you added too much flour, in which case it will rise oddly, collpase into a lump, and possibly burn. If you try to cook a cookie on a stovetop pan then it will simply either burn or be fried like a French fry. That would make it not a cookie anymore. Cooking a cookie edgewise inside a hollow metal disc wouldn't work, as it isn't liquid enough. The dough would burn all the way through and stick to the metal.
I LOVE being literal. It's my sport of choice, and 'tis fun! biggrin.gif

Posted by: Quoth(The Raven) Sep 5 2005, 04:05 AM

Ah, but Tribe Wyvern is th birthplace of Purple Stuff, the famed Mutagenic drink... and with Purple Stuff, all things are possible! wink.gif

Posted by: silvermoon Sep 5 2005, 04:26 AM

Cookies normally can't be baked on the edge, right, but that's under the normal laws of physics. Tribe Wyvern doesn't believe in following arbitrary rules... That's what makes it so entertaining!

Posted by: Quoth(The Raven) Sep 5 2005, 04:31 AM

Yep. In Tribe Wyvern, and the Matabar, we insist that Natural Law make sense to our own Warped minds... even if it makes no sense, anywhere else! laugh.gif
