Greetings my little friendling. Don't eat anything that has writing on it. This is very important. Especially if the writing says: "DO NOT EAT THIS THING WITH WRITING ON IT SAYING DO NOT EAT THIS THING WITH WRITING ON IT!"

In other news, ad eundum quo nemo ante iit

welcome aboard, and always remember my current aggrevation:

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but they are not to state it as fact... grrrr!

Seriously, though, have fun...

Oooh! Get you and your newness! laugh.gif

I have relatives in New South Wales...not that that really matters, I'm sure it's probably so huge the equivilent for you would be to tell me you have relatives in France or some such, and if you do, no, I don't know them! tongue.gif

Welcome to the insanity. Follow these rules and you'll have plenty of good times.
1) Be nice. Flaming and trolling aren't witty, just annoying.
2) Don't be an idiot.
3) Type in correct English with correct spelling, capitalization, and puctuation. Or Mata will give your spleen to the koala bears.
Have fun here, and become one with the craziness!

Yay people are responding to me! Member 2000 thanks you for the welcome.
Ok lets see if I've got it all don't eat stuff with writing especially when they state not to be, opinion doesn't equal fact, be nice and use correct English! Hmmm that last one might be a little hard, I never learnt correct English but I'll try.

Anything else I should know?

Or you could, y'know, read the http://www.matazone.co.uk/forums/index.php?act=boardrules. Mata likes that, it gives him a reason to get up in the mornings.

Damn right they aren't! But don't try and pat a wild one they might take your arm, and then your eyes, then your brains... But don't worry it's the Drop Bears you really have to worry about...

Koala bears is just the popular name, I know that they aren't bears. The official rules are useful, but my little list is good for the people who are too lazy to read the official rules. And it's fun to think of a different thing that Mata will do to lazy typers for every newbie that I give my list to. biggrin.gif

From what I've seen, koala bears aren't much of a threat... after eating their weight in eukalyptus leaves (Who named these bloody trees, anyway? They should be shot for crimes against the English language!), they're too stoned to give a d*mn, anyway... laugh.gif

Yay a kitten, errr it isn't going to eat me or anything will it? Perhaps it's smelling my brains... Just look at those eyes, so cute but I wonder what's behind them... unsure.gif

Koala's aren't aggressive unless you try to touch an untamed one, in which case it will go crazy at you and rip chunks out of you! Very true happened to a nosey foreigner I knew. He was warned... So yes beware the cute and cuddly!

Posted by: uninspired pizza guy Sep 13 2005, 01:56 AM

In that case, welcome fellow aussie. And yes, iv also seen someone get attacked by a koala, not pretty. Oh, and keep an eye out for 'Speaker for the lost', he has a habit of taping the newbies up to the cieling.

Posted by: JimiJimi Sep 13 2005, 05:33 PM

Shh... you're not meant to tell anyone!

Now who's going to know which Jimi is which?

Agh!

Posted by: Jimmy-von-Lucidious Sep 15 2005, 08:43 AM

Cool more Aussies! Yes I've observed this strange ritual of taping people to ceilings and thus far I've gotten away unmolestered.

Don't worry Jimi you can be Jimi and I'll be Jimmy and we could play all sorts of strange and bizarre tricks on people. We could do the whole doppelganger thing!
