If I can procure a ride back home I'll definitively come to Breda, Alphen is a bit further away which is a **** with public transportation, especially if you live in the middle of nowhere. I don't know any places downtown, maybe Mata can recommend some?

I thought you were going to Haarlem?

Posted by: Mata Oct 12 2011, 10:00 PM

Right, I shall try to arrange something vaguly social with people on that night in Breda.

Oo-er.

Yep, no problem Teapot, it will be lovely to see you again. It's been ages, plus we will be able to settle this dispute like men (which probably involves drinking beer and maybe a go on SingStar or something like that).

Yes, very manly. I'm imagining you singing All Saint's "Never Ever". Hehe,

Posted by: Mata Oct 24 2011, 02:47 PM

That's a really dull song to sing along to and it makes everyone sound incredibly flat when they try... Not that I've ever done it. Nope. It's Motorhead all the way for me.

SingStar duel? I'd go for that.

Sorry matey: the home invite is for non-students only, but we'll meet up in a pub - Sam Sam's is pretty decent unless you've got other preferences?

/me thought you had a bar with SingStar picked. I'm sure there's one somewhere.

The Bruin Pij by the Cathedral does SingStar nights occasionally, but I've not had the chance to get along to one yet. I'm not sure how regular they are though.

Nah, we'll head out for a few beers and that'll do the job.

I do think this whole mess should be sorted out with a contest of 'who can have the most civilised pint'.

But I don't drink! :/

Posted by: Usurper MrTeapot Oct 27 2011, 08:11 PM

Well...when you set up a forum and I attempt to take over it...then we can settle it differently.

Posted by: Mata Oct 28 2011, 12:18 AM

We have Belgian beer. It is extremely good, but I think it can't be classified as 'civilised' purely due to the alcohol content (which explains why it took a lot longer to type this than it really should have).
