Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones ought to be arriving on my doorstep any day. I'm way more excited than I probably ought to be - I frickin' loved the first one....

Download the F.E.A.R demo.

If the ladder scene doesn't completely freak you out I do not know what will. I'm finding it far more atmospheric than AVP ever was.

Graphics and AI are amasing too.

I found one of those 'retro' arcade things that you get in argos and stuff with pacman and space invaders on. I shoved on some old insanely fast shred records and played through a load of old arcade games. Ah, memories. But anyway, I'm also after Metal Gear Solid for Game Boy Color, just because I'm MGS mad.

I'll shut up.

But if there's a 'What are you Listening to', 'What are you Playing' and 'What are you Watching', why isn't there a 'What are you eating'?

I'm sorry. I've probably had one too many.

Update. Fire Emblem arrived sometime last week. Aside from the juggling convention last weekend (when my hands were busy), I've been slaving away, levelling up and defeating evil to the tune of about 14 hours.

It's pretty much identical to the first one (with a few minor changes). Soooo obsessive.....

My brother got Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater a few days ago. I might as well be playing that; I have to help him with every boss and my eyes are a lot better than his (in terms of noticing detail) so I point things out to him.

Hitman 2: Silent Assassin

Although, the way I play it, it is more like, "Run in guns blazing in the hope of making it... assassin".

The game is good, if a little (e.g. very) frustrating.

Aaargh! Don't mention Shadowrun to me, I might get dragged in and have to play it all the way through yet again... I got an emulated version working on my GP32 (a Korean handheld with a very lively emulation community) and spent ages last summer playing through it. I love that game!

Hobbes: I never really got on that well with Hitman 2. I always felt that the difficulty was set way too high for any chance of a quick and stealthy kill. I think I've only ever once managed to get in and out without being seen.

And what might happen to you if I happened to link this?

The ONLY reason I want an xBox 360. When this comes out I'm going to be all over it! Randy and I are also in an RPG group that is thinking of doing a 3rd or 4th Edition game some time after we finish our current D&D campaign. Aaahhh....got my Shadowrun fix. smile.gif

Metal Gear Solid for PC and Metal Gear Solid : Ghost Babel for Gameboy Color. Soon I'll buy Metal Gear Solid 2 for PC (because my PS2 is on eBay).

Notice a recurring theme, here?

For me the problem was that there wasn't enough incentive to actually be stealthy. I would always try, but then get frustrated and just kill every single person I could find, carefully and methodically, until I was the only person left alive.

You mean... I'm not supposed to be playing it that way? blink.gif

I have most recently been playing Theme Hospital (from 1997). Which is... fun... but somewhat limited.

Oh, and I also played a two-player game of Medal of Honour (I think), on my bro-in-law's PlayStation 2.

<< hated using the controller, and wished for a keyboard and mouse.

I just recently beat System Shock 2 (It's a fantastic game, you can download it but you get none of the videos. It's legal to download it, too)

Lately Counter Strike Source when I'm bored.

I'm waiting for the release of Pirates of the Burning Sea, it's a sea/ship oriented MMO with more than JUST pirates. I absolutely love sailing (more like I love the idea of it) even though I never have actually even been on a boat or ship that used sails.

I'm on my annual emulator voyage of rediscovery. Cue long bouts of Genesis/MegaDrive playing (StarFlight, Streets of Rage 1 and 2, Alien Storm, Xenon2, Zero Wing (all your base are belong to us...)) and SNES tomfoolery (UN Squadron, Super Streetfighter 2 Turbo et al).
