I would HOPE that Tigersong is nothing like Orin.

<3 LSOH.

I miss Jonman and cheese too. But see, I don't really even know who's still around and who's not... it's saaad. I don't know what happened to my IRC.

Is that a proper medical doctor title? If he studied dentistry then he's still a mister. There are many doctors who are dentists, but not all dentists are doctors.

Well, dentists go through different amounts of training to become licensed depending on the country. US dentists, for example, spend several more years in school than UK dentists and must have a DDS (doctor of dental surgery) or DMD (doctor of medical dentistry) to become licensed to practice. I'm not entirely sure how it works in Canada (which is where Tigersong lives), but from what I can gather it is regulated by province.

I am 99% certain that his facebook profile said "Geoff is Dr. [Lastname]" awhile back, anyway. Ya pedant. tongue.gif

Well isn't this the most interesting little thread. Indeed, ye olde forum is not what it used to be, not without all those lovely people still around.

Some of the old folks have kinda migrated to other forms of keeping in touch/internet stalking. I'd like to think that maybe, someday, I'll actually meet some of them face-to-face.

You assume correctly. In summary: events from Missy's Life 2007 include a wedding in Vegas, a honeymoon to Disney World, home ownership, a car accident, retail industry hell, graduation from university, and parenting four cats. My schedule's been awfully tight.

Cat parenting? Genetics have certainly come a long way in the last few years. If Tiddles doesn't keep up the alimony, tell him I'll let the dogs on him.

How did university go? I remember you applying - have two years really gone by already?

It's been three years, actually, and yes they went by quickly. The first two years went well but the last one was littered with less-than-stellar performance and haphazard attendance due to too many other distractions. Fortunately it didn't catch up with me too much. All in all, had a lot of fun and ending up with my degree, so that's good enough.

Three years? Wow, that really flashed past.

I guess the obvious question is if you have any plans for what to do next?

i was the youngest... i guess thats why a lot of people didn't like me... i was really immature compared the the rest, who were much older. but i'll be 18 in a month!!

Aww, you weren't too bad Crazi, you were a kid and we understood that. We've had younger regular members on here since you started.

Nice to see you again. What have you been up to since you were last around regularly?

i've just been focusing on high school, and of course that gave me a lot more things to do, with clubs, and more social oppurtunities, etc. i made a lot of older friends and things got a lot better.
i also got the traveling bug and i was an exchange student in panama for a short time. i'm going to mexico in february and visiting a friend there, touring around with him.
next year i'll be going to college/university in New Orleans and helping to rebuild

wow, this is such a great thread.... I wonder about all the disappeared people a lot...

Oh, this probably seems weird because I'm posting as Rubix... Rubix= lurker pseudonym because I sorta wanted to become disassociated with my old self- my old self wrote too much emo poetry and seemed sort of annoying, but I guess we're all sorta like that in the inbetweens. Now I'm wondering if others adopted n00bful alter egos, and is that why we don't see them anymore? Hmm.... (Wouldn't that be creepy- no one ever went away, they're all just going by different names now...)

It is indeed. I graduated at the end of October. I chose the Yahoo username DocMata about six or seven years ago, on the basis that eventually I would be able to justify it. I don't think I'd realised that it would take this long!

Money is one of those things that for 99.9% of the world will always be tight. Try not to let it get to you and you'll be fine.

How's work weird? (And maybe the answer should be a Daily Life thread.)

As far as I can recall, he was just kind of an ass all the time. But then again, he might've committed some horrible moral infraction that I don't remember.

I remember him being a real asshole all the time. However, he left after I disappeared for a while so I don't know the answer but you could definitely assume that his asshole-ness did have something to do with it.
