Not sure whether this is relevant (and even if it is, I'm not sure what it is relative to), but when I first came here, there was a little box at the bottom of the forums in which I was reminded of that most fantastic of occasions: Towel day. Naturally, being a Vogon fearing person and all, I just wondered whether maybe this was something that disappeared like the delete button, or whether it's just a case of there's been no dates of note.

It was definitely up there for a while, not just one day, and I assume it was a mod thing only. I certainly never saw any controls to add things.

It only pops up if something is happening that day. The calendar is still there to be seen by clicking on the link on the top right on the screen, just below the big bar (you know, the ones that everyone ignores).

Towel day is this month isn't it? I had a look on the calendar for this month and don't see it listed. Okay, that's sorted. Apparently I can either have a yearly event, or one with an end date, but not both... Which seems odd. Why would you have a yearly event if it didn't end the previous year?
