I actually still get excited when my bank sends me things. "Look, I get things in the mail too! Suck it!"

--------------------
Every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And, the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics: You are all stardust. You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded, because the elements - the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution and for life - weren’t created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars, and the only way for them to get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode. So, forget God. The stars died so that you could be here today. ~Lawrence Krauss

QUOTE (Hobbes @ Oct 24 2012, 06:19 PM) *
Big difference between childhood and adulthood:

An envelope comes through the door, printed with my name and address.

Child Me: "Oooooh! I got some post!!! Woweeeee! What possible treasure could this beeeee?!"
Adult Me: "Oh for ****'s sake. Who wants more of my money this time? Who did I forget to pay? Siiiiiighhh..."

Does that mean I'm still a child, considering that I still react like that?

The trick is in ignoring the envelopes but still feeling that way about boxes and thick padded envelopes, they seldom betray me by containing bills and other such nasties..

While the ratio bills/shit/games is probably 40/40/20 for me, I always hope its a game (I order pretty much all my games online).
