Thorn: undiagnosed abdominal pain is back

Yikes! That does not sound very fun at all. sad.gif
I hope you get to feeling well soon, m'lady.

Rose: Finished all of my stuffs today.
Thorn: Didn't get ahead like I planned on 'cause I felt like taking a break.
Rose: Proud of myself for being all adult-like and actually working on schoolwork and workwork instead of goofing off.
Thorn: My contact lense has been bugging me. I don't get it. It's just the right one, and I've checked to make sure there are no tears and have even changed pairs. I really don't know what the heck is wrong. Back to glasses for me.
Rose: Found out that it's possible for my mohawk to convert into an equally awesome "normal" haircut on days I don't feel like spending half my morning teasing my hair into oblivion.
Rose: Lots of compliments on the new 'do, though, which is always nice.
Thorn: Except for one d*ckhead who told me that it looked "Kinda Sh**ty today"
Rose: instead of being mad I just responded that comments like that are why he can't seem to get laid.
Rose: Mission accomplished via catty comment. Heck yeah.

Rose/thorn: I just blew a bubblegum bubble so big it stuck to my nose and chin.
Rose: Then I had a sudden urge to watch Mr Snaffleburger. I sort of forgot about the animations.
Thorn: Done no work today!!

Thorn: Yay, another idiot governor. 48% to 49%. So close. sad.gif
Rose: The three amendments I cared about went the way I wanted them to.
Thorn: Prop 19 in Cali failed and I can't find what happened with Prop 1069 in Washington, but I'm assuming that one didn't pass either.
Rose: ..Not.. super behind on school work? Physics spiraled from a modest workload to a "Why do you hate us? D:"
Thorn: History teacher is in the hospital. sad.gif (..And I just remembered getting teased for not being able to pronounce 'hospital' when I was little. >_>)
Rose: So that class has turned into a study hall. We're watching Treasure Island tomorrow. Same thing happened in Stats, so we're playing Mao daily. This is officially my favorite card game.
Rose: Lawl, debate club. Re-did abortion, hit up globalization. We got the one girl in opposition to admit that it's good states have open boarders and that Canadians are nice people that we should willingly accept, and that she supposes having open boarders with Canada is similar to having different states. Then she accepted that the US can retains its gov. and Canada their's, just like state laws differ from State to state. She said that open boarders with Canada "wouldn't be bad". When going back to the original topic, Mexico, she turned back to her "Globalization is stupid, why should we help people?" stance. Meh. It was fun.
Rose: Man, I love my history teacher's nonchalant use of the word t-baggers. I also love how people complain, and then I'm like "Well, are you?", and they're like "YES! *pause* I mean NO, tea party." Inward giggle.
Thorn: Bleh, tireds.

--------------------
Every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And, the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics: You are all stardust. You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded, because the elements - the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution and for life - weren’t created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars, and the only way for them to get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode. So, forget God. The stars died so that you could be here today. ~Lawrence Krauss

Thorn: I'm rather moody today.
Thorn: My blood sugar is totally wacky, which may be why I'm moody.
Rose: I finished designing my Stellar Evolution book for typography.
Rose? Hopefully it will get its final sign off tomorrow and my life will become a lot less stressful until next semester.
Rose: I got a Kindle for only $8.43 of my own money!
Thorn: I tried to remove my mom's car bumper when I hit our carport while backing out.
Rose: Clean sheets.

Have you found the free books on there? I got like 25 classics for free last night. I had to stop myself. haha

Rose: Pizza
Thorn: I think my body is going to hate me once I've eaten this pizza.
Thron: My mom keeps lecturing me because of my tiny accident with her car.
Rose: When I reminded her this is the first time I've run into the carport with her car and she's done it like 10 times, she decided to drop it.

Thorn: Bit chilly

Rose: Soup!.. in a Commodore 64 Mug!
Rose: There is little in this world to rival the feeling - during cold weather - of putting on an item of clothing that has been pleasantly warmed upon the radiator for some time. It's a comforting cosiness that perhaps can only be replicated via the embrace of a longed-for hug.

Thorn: Friday night and I need to stay in and study.
Thorn: Clearly I'm not even studying, I'm writing about not studying here instead...
Rose: I have tea and biscuits!
Rose: The man in the shop was extra nice to me, probably because I was buying tea and biscuits whilst everyone else was buying rolling paper and alcohol. smile.gif

Rose: The book binder called with specs on my cover, which I wasn't expecting to happen until the end of the week.
Thorn: That now means I have work to do today instead of being 95% of a slacker.
Rose: Lots of driving!
Rose: Lots of alone time!
Thorn: If I don't get things done by 2 pm I will probably be going to the binders Tuesday and have to miss Matt's show.

Rose: The fields next to my work are still covered with untouched, virgin snow. It looks pretty... it is very tempting to get stuck in; building something monumental.

Thorn: Living close to work means no "snow days" for me.
Thorn: and I've worked 13 days straight.

Rose: Day off tomorrow!

Rose: My book is done! \o/
Thorn: When I picked it up from the bindery the totally drool worthy guy was not there.
Rose: I only have to redesign my website and then I'm done with work for the semester! \o/
Thorn: None of my crit partners have taken the time to crit my work (which is part of the assignment) so I'm going into redesigning without any feedback.

Thorn: I did not feel well yesterday, and ended up taking most of the day off, then sleeping through a lot of it.
Thorn: Today was a struggle to get out of bed too, and I was a little late for work again.
Thorn: It was a long day at work...
Rose: ...though constructive...
Rose: ...and we have, possibly, the beginnings of some large orders coming through to us \o/

Rose: The semester feels like it's pretty much over.
Thorn: I still have one assignment to finish up, but I'm holding out for some feedback that I'll probably not get.
Rose: With new time to do things I went to see the new Harry Potter.
Rose: And then I got creative for something that wasn't a school assignment or a job.
Rose: It's my sister's Christmas present.
Thorn: I always feel like a cheep ass when I give art for presents.

Rose: Finally, the long-dreaded 2D design class final has been taken...
Thorn: I made a fifty on the exam...but I think my portfolio should cover for that.
Rose: Professor in charge of said class was actually pleasent instead of being a complete prick like he usually is.

Thorn: I've been running a 99-104 degree fever for three days now. Wtf?
Rose: I'm not feeling sick besides feeling a bit tired and feverish.

Thorn:Math exam tomorrow.
Rose: I...wait for it....I actually think I understand the concepts and may pass the test. ohmy.gif
