The classic love triangle! Ah, the stuff of naff romantic movies! I also believe that it was the case with William Wordsworth, Dorothy Wordsworth (his sister), and Samuel Taylor Coleridge. William loved Dorothy (and probably consumated this, she wrote at one point of the need to 'normalise' their relationship), Dorothy loved Samuel, and I strongly suspect that Samuel loved William. I was always confused by the title 'love triangle' when applied to the traditional Hollywood love trio. It was more of a love wishbone than a triangle, what with there usually being two completely heterosexual males going after the same girl.

I wouldn't say that my 3some resulted in a love triangle but I thought I'd be weird about it and as it turned out Ed had a really bad reaction to it all. He said he felt really left out and unloved afterwards. It was basically because we'd not set any ground rules and I think that we would if we ever did it again.

Having said that I asked him the other day what he fantasised about and he mentioned the other girls name and that bothered me. He said it was purely in a 3some context but it really got to me. I'm not that bothered now but I think that it's a high possibility that a 3some would not happen again due to small insecurities on both our parts.
