This is probably a daft thing to post about, but I was sat in the car with Mat the other day on the way home from somewhere and 'Hear You Me' by Jimmy Eat World came on and it just made me think of Dayan. I wish I knew him more and I wish I had the oppertunity to meet him more than once. I'd get him back for that damn eyeball trick for a start! I guess he's just in my thoughts as I'm sure he's in everyone else's.

As I have only just come back to these forums, this was a bit of a shock to say the least. The work on the website is fantastic, and a wonderfu testament to the cheeky little chappie. At first I thought it was a joke, because he'd left the forums or something, but the sadness quickly set in as I realised what this was all about. I can't say I knew Dayan that well, but I can say I'll miss him, and all the filth he used to spout on chat!

There was a note left on the guestbook for the memorial site and I was wondering if anyone knew or wanted to respond to this gentleman. The link to the guestbook is here : Dayan Memorial Site Guestbook , which has the post and the email of the guy.
His post reads : QUOTE Is one of your oldest friends, I feel betrayed by the fact that you would kill yourself a week after we lost met. Most people here do not now whom i am or from where i am coming from. But most people here have no idea about Dayan or who he was. While I went to school with him, he was taking anti-deprants. Until the last year of school. If anyone who does read this has any idea of what he lst thought of his school friends please email me.

He'd be twenty now, although I'd be just as drunk. The first toast was to him this night, the rest were to him too, but they were said inside. I suspect that there is a line after which I should probably try to stop mourning. Five years might be that point. We'll see.
