Yeh mine's being payed back gradualy, but as I cant afford to add to it I got to wait for it to be payed back before I reloan. I'm getting about $1.56 a month back and so far I've $8.95.

I pitched this to our MD as something they could really get on board with as part of their Corporate Responsibility Initiative - they went for it. They can't impose it but I should get to pitch to the organisation on how this works and how very good it is. That's pretty spanky.

I've been doing longer loans recently so my lending has had to slow down - I think I might try and find shorter ones in the future to keep it more active.
I still love this idea - there's your money helping people in Paraguay. How very very cool

My thought was seeing as I only have a little money for this it's probably more productive for it to go into shorter loans with it. But yeh I completely agree with your feelings about. I get to feel as if I'm helping people even though I've only the small amount but because it's a loan I can keep helping rather than just throwing it at something that some times feels like a bottomless pit.

Oo, I hadn't seen the stats bit! I currently have $345 in loans spread around the world, I've made 29 loans to 16 different countries, and over 70% of my recipients have been women. Apparently I greatly favour agriculture loans: over 40% of my money has gone towards that.

I read mine when I made my last loan because it was only my 2nd loan so most my stats were 50% which was entertaining me.
