After looking after the Quote site for a while, I seem to note a few things (and by 'few', I mean 'one'). This is that, while quotes come in from IRC quite regularly, virtually nothing comes in from the forums much anymore. Deciding to try and eliminate this problem, I tried to come up with possible causes. Either,
1) The Matazone forumites never say anything funny anymore, or 2) People just don't think about putting stuff on the site when they see it. Now, I think we can all agree that the first option is a load of steaming bovine excrement, which means that it must be the second one (as I can't possibly have missed anything out. Oh no, not me.....Stop looking at me like that), so I have decided to put a little reminder up, in big letters. Maybe even CAPITAL ONES. BIG RED CAPITAL ONES. NOW, I FIGURE IF I PUT EVERYTHING IN BIG RED CAPITAL LETTERS, NO-ONE WOULD DARE IGNORE IT. SUBTLE METHODS OF INDOCTRINATION WILL ALSO BE EMPLOYED. IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS, DON'T WORRY. EVERYTHING IS OK. YOU ARE HAPPY, AND WANT TO SUBMIT FUNNY THINGS TO THE QUOTE SITE Message ends.
