Do you think he would have given me a slap because I was playing Rock Band 3 by myself (while quite drunk) a couple of weeks ago and Debaser came on and I started crying? He probably would. I'm such a wuss sometimes.

Silly bugger.

Heh. You can join my emotional wuss club. You get props for listening, though. I still can't.

Dear InKy,

Sometimes I wander in here, look around, and am so absolutely baffled by the idea that there are people STILL POSTING HERE that I wander back out again without saying much.

What's up with that?

Sincerely,

Missy

It's already out of his hands. Take a look at his cabinet selections, it's going to be Clinton 3.0.

Yes, quite a few names from the old Clinton guard are back in business, so to speak.

Frankly I'm more of a libertarian so I can't say I'm Obama's biggest kool-aid fan, but still I'd much rather have him over McCain. A return to Clintonist politics is, in my opinion, a better option than a continuation of Bushist politics. If I have to choose between evils I mean.

Obama might not have much meat to his policies but I think at the least he has a greatly improved attitude towards America's place in the world. A little less imperialism could do us all some good.

I like bizarre gadgets and cute fluffy things. I especially like things that somehow combine the two.

I don't think it's really very fair of her to call it rape. It's like others have said she just felt bad afterwards and decided to refer to it as such. Personally if I called all my bad sexual experiences rape then I'd have been raped quite a few times. I don't mean to trivialise but that's just how I see it.

I'm gonna have to agree on this one. Lord knows I've had sex before when I didn't really *want* to for varying reasons, but consented to it anyway, though have later regretted giving the consent for the experience. It isn't rape in that case. It is a wholly unpleasant regret to have and can be damaging all on its own, but rape just isn't the right term for it by any means.

Do we make mod-panties in larger-than-life size? Man's a legend in his own right, you know. If so then I suppose I'll vote yes.

Oh, and Whitney Houston will forever be cheap like crack. Though I hear inflation's damaged the metaphor some since its inception.

Ahh... Fable II. What a thing of glory. Yes, there are occasional bugs and niggles, but overall it's lovely. I've happily worked my way up to owning pretty much everything I can see. I think I get about 10k of gold every five minutes, have well over a million gold in total, and have only recently found the second hero. I'm abling very slowly through the game, doing nearly everything I find, and thoroughly enjoying the experience.

Fable II's storyline left me a bit underwhelmed, but I had great fun with the simplistic combat system and buying everything in sight. First game I'd finished for a good long time.

When nto doing single-player stuff, I'm playing Little Big Planet. Just the simple fact that it had myself and my friend giggling like little schoolgirls with delight should tell you how lovely I think that game is. I've not even started making things in it yet, and I hear that is perhaps even more fun than the 'proper' game. Hooray! It's ace!

Stop it, you're making me want to buy a PS3. Sackboy is super cute.

As per my usual, I got up to about 6000 words, got distracted by the elections and other events, and can safely add this year's NaNo to my list of failures. Once I have enough of them, I'll compile them into an anthology of 50k and claim victory.

Just finished Fable II on the Xbox this week, and have belatedly begun Fallout 3 now that my husband's finally done with it. If the demo's crazy camera angles don't make me ill, Mirror's Edge will be up after that.

(this thread needed some love. the holiday gaming season is in full swing these days!)

I think this place taught me more about love, loss, friendship, and IRC bots than practically anything else in my life.

Yeah, that'll do it.

I'm going to pretend I'm not slighted by my non-appearance on this list, since I'm coming out of retirement again just long enough to say

OMFG, it's you! *waves ecstatically*

So this year my roomie and a friend really got me good...

HERE are pictures...

I am very impressed...

The pictures don't even do it justice...

Hahaha! My senior class did that to the common lounge at our Academy for a prank. We even labeled the air in various parts of the room... "oxygen", "nitrogen", "carbon dioxide". Nerds.
