hello again. i have been away to the moon. but i am back.
not that you noticed. so, over_the_abyss and I decided that our life belongs as a sitcom. I decided to write out a list of characters- prelimanary, of course. I'd love to hear yours. ari (me): witty teenager, prone to hijinks that send rose into classic 'groan' spiral, as well as a heart wrenching moment or two every season. rose: sings the theme song, witty teenager #2 (or, #1, to keep the peace). deep and slightly angsty (just enough) poet. dad: (aris) comic relief, set up for jokes and all around fun. mom: (roses) straight man...er, woman. happy and such. eli: annoying brother type, fun usually issac: yet another annoying brother type. mysterious and sarcastic. only in first or second episode. mona: (roses aunt) your basic wacky aunt with a secret twist. o0o0o0o aim: portal of life. roses domain. much banging of head on behalf of ari. silly girl... assorted boy toys: for drooling and tripping=fun for the whole family! -------------------- I am thinking it's a sign
that the freckles in our eyes are mirror images and when we kiss they're perfectly aligned. And I have to speculate that God Himself did make us into corresponding shapes like puzzle pieces from the clay. . . ![]() |

I will reply to this later... Don't have enough time to think about it now, but it sounds interesting and I will have a think...

Ok, I have been having a think, and although my life at times has seemed like a soap opera, it is not just my life which has made it seem that way.
You dig? I.e most of the stuff which makes it seem like a soap (i.e sex, violence, teenage pregnancy, sleeping around, death, sexual abuse, racism, mental ill health, divorce, theft, slagging one another off, etc etc) have happened to my circle of friends and the people they know, not just to my family. Therefore it is real life, not a soap as soaps are just based on real life but more concentrated; the daily issues in a programme may seem extreme but they are just things which happen to some people. Interesting idea, and I know I may have gone off at a tangent, but it is after a few days of thinking... Edit- after all that, I have just re-read your first post and realised that you were on about sit-coms, not soap operas. My bad. Same thing goes, except with a little more humour... -------------------- We are unraveling our navels so that we may ingest the sun. DARIA IZ GOOD ON TOAST TOAST IZ GOOD ON DARIA |
