Really about my purchases yesterday, but terribly exciting.

My neighbor hit my car about two weeks ago, so the insurance finally coughed up my money and I went to get a new car. I now have a 2004 Chevy Cavalier LS.... it's shiny and pretty and goes vroom waaaaaaaay easier than the stupid Mazda.

Yay for $10,000 purchases!

Was appropriately creepy for a Halloween special.

I always knew that children are evil...

I know my mom has taken my father to court quite a few times to make him pay his child support. She has gone to the District Attorney's office, and he has his wages garnished now.

In my county, going through the DA is free, and she was able to get the wages garnished even when my dad lived in another state (~2000 miles away).

He is responsible for the child, and he needs to help raise her, even if it is just by contributing a bit of money.

I have done the dishwasher thing. Mom laughed at me.

Early in the summer, me, my best friend Danielle, and our friend Shad drove in two seperate cars to Santa Cruz. Shad and Danielle were in one, and I was all alone in the other. Shad has problems following directions, and missed two exits. When we finally got to Santa Cruz, we met at the bank so Danielle could lead us to her aunt and uncle's house.

I went to get some cash out of the ATM, and on my way back to the car I said "Stick a turkey in him, he's done."

Oops. I meant a fork. I could have sworn I said a fork!

In other stupidities, I'm trying to sell my car, but I keep not calling the people back who leave me messages.

I used to want to be a writer, but my creativity got sapped by standardized tests.

Then I wanted to be a psychologist, but I've shifted to a LCSW (licensed clinical social worker). My ex-boyfriend was a foster child, and I got to know his social workers pretty well, and an LCSW mixed social work with psychology.

In relation to the original topic, I can't see why she would wear a bra to bed. It pokes you if you roll over. And if you're well-endowed, it traps Teh Boobs on top of your chest, and you run the risk of suffocation under the giganticness. Or maybe that's just me.

No, I don't wear a bra to bed. If I didn't have to, I wouldn't wear a bra ever. Maybe she only wears the bra while she visiting? Like others have siad that they wear bras when they have company. Maybe they aren't so perfect, and she doesn't want you to know.

In short, I think the answer is YES.

We had an earthquake here in California yesterday... The epicenter was about an hour away, and we definitely felt it... I was in my biology lab, where we have rolling computer chairs, and we were rolling around the classroom.

Other than that, I live in a desert. Rain is but a distant memory.

QUOTE (Mutilation @ Sep 20 2004, 12:56 PM)
What is officially the hottest chili in the world. I have been wanting to eat some very spicy stuff, so I got a pack of Ko-Lee spicy noodles, added the entire packet that came with it, then added lots of hot tabasco sauce, and then got some yellow pickled Negas a.k.a Scotch bonnet a.k.a Jabenero's and added them. Of course it wasn't spicy enough. And I even tried Nando's extremly spicy chicken wings with chili powder chips and extra hot sauce but nothing works? Could you give me some advice that doesn't involve fire or spraying your tongue with Anti-Freeze (it's not good).

Consider class as naptime. It did wonders for me, as long as you keep up with your homework and such to score well on tests.

Or, if it's later in the day, lunch. My precalc was 5th period, so it was a lunch time, and my calc was 2nd period, which became naptime.

QUOTE (Jonman @ Aug 26 2004, 01:07 AM)
Another thing to consider is his motives for stealing. What's the scale of the thefts? The reason I ask is to try and identify whether he's in more trouble than you already know about. 10 quid here and there would indicate he's stealing to buy weed and beers. 100 quid a day would be more indicative of a smack habit, which would be of extreme concern. Not that I'm trying to say that he's a smackhead, just that you guys ought to try and figure out what's going on.

The police really need to be a last resort. But maybe one that would work. If you guys do end up doing that - I would suggest giving fair and multiple warnings to your brother that if his behaviour continues, then you'll have to call the police. Springing it on him is just likely to make him resent you.

And, good luck...
*

He steals our cars to go joyriding with his friends. He also bugs my mom for $10 every few days. I don't think he's a smackhead (yet at least blink.gif ), because smack is harder to get here. Now, stealing my car is just theft (my baby's not valued over the limit), but stealing my mom's is grand theft auto (not just a game!).

He has been given many many many warnings. This has been going on for at least a year and a half, but probably more. He has been warned that he's on his last hair, and if we wake up and he's gone, we're calling the police.

It's just getting to the point that nothing we do has any effect on him, and he's uncontrollable, and we don't know what to do.

Dear Man of Jon,

I have a younger brother. I'm nearly 18, and he turned 16 in May. For the last year or so, the only thing he's cared about is getting stoned and drunk. He steals money from me and my mom. He steals my mom's cigarettes, he ditches school all the time (as in, today was the third day of school and he cut it). He also has 'borrowed' our cars (he doesn't have a license).

His actions, and his COMPLETE lack of remorse, has our family in a tizzy. My mom doesn't want to send him to his father, my sperm donor, because it would be admitting she's failed. His father's sole view of discipline is beating him. We've also discussed sending him to a grandparent, but as both of my parents smoked weed when they were his age, it seems rather pointless to me.

Mom told him today that he is on his absolute last chance: if he screws up again, she's calling the police.

Anything you can think of that could help us?

School started on Monday for me. And someone decided that 7:30 in the morning would be a great time to offer THE ONLY BIOLOGY LAB. I am not amused.

My friends and I were driving to Santa Cruz in seperate cars. Danielle and Shad were in the bunny, and I was in the Honda. Shad kept missing exits and getting lost. When we finally got there, we met at the bank. Danielle took the keys from him, and I said "Stick a turkey in him, he's done."

Whoops. Don't let me drive for 4 hours without human contact, I get silly.

I got my nostril pierced on July 3rd... the guy did a horrible job, and I ended up having to repierce it the next day. It's not healing well, because of all the trauma it went through, so I just took it out to reheal and repierce. sad.gif

I miss my little nose sparkle...
