You know, I'm really looking forward to NBA Street Version 3 - the GCN verison, of course. You know, Nintendo characters... and basketball. ON a similar note, I'm looking forward to Mario Baseball. Woo hoo!

And, I might have said this already, but I'm a Kirby whore. I can't wait for the new Kirby game Kirby Air Ride was crap (at least, I didn't like it) sure not a Mario Kart. No siree.

Constantiene is looking pretty good, too.

Hell. I keep thinking of more. No one's yet said anything about Katamari Damacy II. I've not played the first a whole lot, but it is most fun. I hope for KD 3 they get a new graphics engine, though. I'm not graphics whore by any means, but a glossy finish sure is nice and would compliment an already great gane.

And one more thing.  Tekken 5.  The graphics engine is sick enough fro me to want it, but with promised gameplay and combo system (let's face it, 4 wasn't the pinnacle of great stuff) I'm happy.
*

I hope they bring back the Tekken Tag feature. It was great to have four people gathered around a TV after a night at the pub, beating the hell out of eachother and then running away... Of course, I am a _very_ dirty fighter on that game and will happily smack a player as they try to run away or when they're on the floor. It's part of the game! biggrin.gif

Of course!

I personally can't wait for the inevitable Dead or Alive 3. I just bought two and it is incredible! Granted, I haven't played much, but I'm in love. I'm rambling, aren't I?

Let's make this more less spamish. The PSP version of Darkstalkers is looking pretty sweet, even though I have a copy of that on my PSOne somewhere. But damn Capcom, they're going to make me buy it because there's a new gameplay mode.

After a wickle bit of research on the weekend, I'd like to add another two games to the list:

Gamecube versions of Fire Emblem and Advance Wars

I'm with Commie on this one... I don't think that Advance Wars will translate well to the GC, but that is a different story for Fire Emblem. I'm actually looking forward to that one.

Fire Emblem.....just another reason for me to remain poor (after buying a copy, that is)

I can hardly wait for it! I've been drooling over it since I unlocked the characters in SSBM happy.gif

This might be my Capcom fanboyness showing, but I must say that Shadow of Rome is looking pretty tasty. I'm not a fan on stealth gaming, but I am a fan of ancient Rome, so... we'll see how this goes, yeah? While on the subject of upcoming Capcom, I might as well mention Haunting Ground. I'm not a fan of gimmicks (they seem... gimmicky! tongue.gif ) like the dog thing, but who knows? It looks pretty sexy and I do love Capcom...

So they're making a comletely different game and slapping an IP on it. Fair enough Commie, but terrifying? The inside of your head must be an odd place.

Wasn't Commie making the point that they've slapped a warning notice on Advance Wars? Or am I fashionable late in the day to make this point and/or stupid?

Well, it is a game about blowing the living crap out of soldiers. So the warning notice probably isn't too far off the mark.

I'll be honest, I'm not sure what point Commie was making either, but I figured I'd play along. Care to explain yourself, Sean?

Just that 1) everything I loved about Advance Wars is conspicuous in its absence; 2) I've never met a real-time squad-based strategy action game I liked; and additionally 3) I haven't seen anything about the game that makes it sound vaguely interesting, so I'm not sure what drew Jonman to it.

To be honest, I knew next to nothing about other than it was a 3D Advance Wars. I was interested based purely on how much I enjoyed the GBA iterations. I may have seen the error of my ways - I'll watch it with interest as the release approaches.

*nod* That was my initial reaction, but now I'm less sure. Still, it may turn out to be a great game on its own merits - after all, I loved Fallout: Tactics, which was an entirely different genre from the first two Fallout games.

Oh! That reminds me!

Fallout 3 in pre-production

The idea of a third Fallout RPG fills me with joy indescribable. I doubt we'll see it this year, since Bethesda are apparently getting Oblivion out of the way first, but soon... soon...

I've played three Fallout games - 1,2, and BoS. BoS was nowhere near as good as the first two, which are some of my favorite games, I make it a point to replay them at least once a year. I am wary of a Fallout 3, simply because there is no longer the genius that was Black Isle.

Hey, if it's funny, I'm there.

Does anyone happen to know if/when the next installment of You Don't Know Jack will be coming out? I always enjoyed those.

I enjoyed the first, but it didn't blow my mind or anything, and since KOTOR2 is apparently more of the same I'll give it a miss, personally.

Alright, so I must know... what are the thoughts of forumites about Odama? For those of you who don't remember/know, it's the military pin ball game. I'm skeptical, but open to new ideas... this one could be great or horrible (as is the case with every game of course, save Devil May Cry 3 and Viewtiful Joe 3) but I'm intrigued. Your thoughts?

And while on the subject of odd Nintendo games that may or may not be worth any salt, what of Geist?
