How do you do uber-nifty things to your words like make them colorful and linkable and stoof?

Gerbil should teach you that, you are after all his anti noob lol.
Easy way to do it is just type what you want, click on the guided mode spot up above the text you just typed, then highlight what you want to change the color on and use one of those pull down menus to do it.
