Just got sent this link and it's hillarious.
Theres something incredibly giggly about watching goats rolling over bleeting helplessly whenever they are even slightly startled. Run! Run! Oh wait, you can't! Ahahaha! -------------------- "Too often Fate,

Grar. Windows media - that always kills Firefox for me, and IE isn't doing much better at playing it.
Does anyone know what I should install to get that working? -------------------- Trouble Down Pit: Still updated every Monday and Friday

That's absolutely hilarious - I couldn't control myself from laughing watching them on their backs like they've just died.
OK, so maybe it's cruel, but the woman says it doesn't hurt them, so it's OK! A-hahahahahaa! -------------------- |

Oh my, I think I'm going to die from laughing. A fainting goat called J-Lo! Oh my. Heehee they just fall down. Or they jump tiny steps all legs straight. This is fantastic.

I'm sure one of the goats, err, expells gas after the woman naming the goats says 'Lydia'... The black and white one just to her right jiggles its posterior at the same time.
It might be a grunt, but it's what it sounds like to an immature mind that counts. -------------------- |

Haha, I see that. Toilet humour, can't condone it when we're laughing at genetically disabled goats.

I downloaded the source file so I could watch it.
How on earth did that species evolve? What kind of weird environment was it a good instinct that surprise stops you in your tracks and possibly makes you fall over? -------------------- Trouble Down Pit: Still updated every Monday and Friday

Maybe it makes predators think that they're dead and then go away or something similar. Bears will usually leave you alone if you hold still, so mayeb these goats' natural predators act the same.
That was hilarious, and I heard that one fart. I started laughing every time the umbrella opened and a bunch them fell over. Run, goats, run! Fall, goats, fall! -------------------- |

The goats fall over and get eaten while the rest of your livestock survives.

QUOTE (Star_of_Lei @ Oct 17 2005, 05:01 PM) This is just getting silly. I mean, how are they going to help protect anything? oooooooooo guard goats, the theifs best friend They protect the herd by falling over and being eaten. The predators are no longer hungry and so leave the others alone. It's a basic thing that most predators do not kill when they are not hungry, so by eating these 'fainting goats' they leave the more profitable herd intact. At least that's the theory. I'm not sure how successful they actually are. It's not to protect from human thieves. As you can see from the video they are easily thwarted by the evil umberella! -------------------- "Too often Fate,

That would be because umbrellas are evil. But I back down, these were clearly clever sheep breeders, I as you can see do not listen in science.
