Me, I've gone back in time, to a place where Extreme released their second album, entitled "Pornograffiti". Which is their best album, no argument.

If you don't like / what you see here / get the funk out!

That was the one with "More Than Words," right? My momma's favorite Extreme song, wink.gif

New Regina Spektor in the player here, I'm finding it delicious. Also new Grizzly Bear is lovely stuff! Like the allman brothers got ate by animal collective and they tried to get out by playing "Yellow House" very loudly (from inside of Animal Collective.) And Animal Collective was all, "You have to make recognizable melodies if you want to escape, Allman Brothers" and then there was a GUITAR SOLO.

That's exactly what it's like.

Just started playing with Spotify, so currently mixing up a bit of Regina Spektor and a bit of Amanda Palmer. It's working well, with the occasional appearance from Madness, The Jam, XTC or The Specials.

Listening to Missy Elliott's Under Construction right now, which kicks ass. I've mainly been listening to a lot of hip-hop, especially 90s New York stuff like Wu-Tang Clan, Jay-Z and Nas, plus a bunch of Jurassic 5. On the rock front, Fall Out Boy's Folie a Deux is still rocking my world, but apart from that and the odd bit of Elbow I haven't been listening to much of the guitar-y stuff lately.

That would be the one Elph. And a very lovely song it is too.

Original beats with real live mc's

Just that classic rap shit from Jurassic

Ahh, I love "Concrete Schoolyard"...

I'm currently listening to some Bomfunk MCs. I need something with energy to get me into doing work wink.gif

I'm sat in the garden, working (yay for wifi!) and because it's so sunny and SO lovely, I decided to listen to summery music. However, it's turned into Neutral Milk Hotel and Fever Ray. hmm. Mungo's Hifi will be on in a bit.

Currently listening to old Grizzly Bear--"Knife". What a beautiful, beautiful track. Shivery.

Other recent musics: "A Brief History of the Blues", which is a magical compendium of Howlin' Wolf, BB King, Otis Rush, and billions of lesser-known bluesdudes. Glorious.
Also, the Books. Also, Johnny Cash. Also, Kevin Drew's solo album.

In a fit of bubble-gum pop I have been listening to a combination of:

Fascination, by Alphabeat
You Can't Hurry Love, by Phil Collins
Walking on Sunshine, by Katrina & The Waves.

In my defense, I am listening to them because I noticed the other day they all have a very similar intro, so I was trying to combine the songs in some well-appreciated and rewarded "mashup" of the tracks.

I've given up as usual though.

Also, I have recently been enjoying the likes of Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, and other 50's rock'n'rollers.

Why am I the only one using this thread? I rarely used it in the past. ;P

ΔMi−1 = −αΣn=1NDi[n][Σj∈C{i}Fji[n − 1] + Fexti[n−1]] - Aphex Twin. Because that is the sickest song title evar.

The following albums by The National: Sad Songs For Dirty Lovers, Cherry Tree, Alligator, Boxer.
Nothing else.

It kind of feels like the time I had Dark Side Of The Moon in my cd player for about three weeks because I couldn't find anything better to listen to.

Lots of Pendulum lately. Their Hold Your Colour album is awesome.

Oh, they have a song called The Other Side.
