Yaaay! biggrin.gif I'm so glad you like it! <3 And that it arrived in one piece! I may have been a bit excessive with the packaging, out of paranoia.

Yup, it arrived this morning. biggrin.gif Don't know why it said "completed delivered" on the 18th. That is a filthy lie. At least one of us was here all day, and they didn't ring the bell!

Moop was out when the parcel arrived, so I signed for it, and they asked my surname. That's probably where the confusion came from. The deliveryman also got the joy of seeing me in my dressing gown, as I'd been running around the house in a crazy rush after we overslept. Merry early Christmas to him.

The gift hasn't been opened yet, since moop still isn't home. He shouldn't be too much longer, though!

These are the creepiest earrings I have ever received, and I adore them!

And the parcel also contained EVEN MORE baby heads! I think I shall make them into a charm bracelet. And there was tape for making stripy nail art, too! And lots and LOTS of glitter.

THANK YOU, FROGGY! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif I love my gifts! <3

Aargh!!! Santa I moved house last week! If you are sending things via the mail service things will be ok however if you have used a little man in a white van there may be issues. Also Matt moved with me!

Both you and Matt sent me your new address when you signed up for Secret Santa! Matt also sent his work address as a backup. No need to worry. smile.gif

Time's up!

You all* should get a PM with your victim's name and address soon. Please bear in mind that half of the victims are being sent out by an elf in the Pacific Time Zone, so those of you on her list will get a PM a bit later than those on my half.

One of us will post here when all of the victims have been sent out.

*Well, almost all of you. Unfortunately, there was one person who failed to send me an address. sad.gif Had to leave you out, sorry.

Sorry I'm late to the party. Hope there's still room to sign up.

Not late at all! The cut off date is the 25th of November. smile.gif

And you're a lamb for sending your address right away. Which brings me to...

AHEM. YOU PEOPLE. YOU PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT LAMBS (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE). YOU NEED TO SEND YOUR ADDRESSES TO ME.

If you don't, the Sledgehammer of Justice awaits. evil.gif

When you sign up, you'll need to let us know the identities of your past three victims.

But it's okay; my evil elves won't punish you. The past three victims are listed, after all. You just provided a bit extra. biggrin.gif

Edit: I'm assuming those are in reverse chronological order? So your most recent three were Wittles, Lo, and Hobbes?

It's that time again, my darlings! If you sign up before the 25th of November, you will receive your very own Matazonian to shower with gifts costing around 5 (as of right now, that's about $8 US).

To sign up, simply fill out the form at the bottom of this post with your own information, post it in this thread, and then PM me your address.

Important note: You need to send me your address even if you think I already have it.

The only person who can ignore the above message is moop, since he lives with me. tongue.gif I can remember my own address, but the odds of me actually finding an address sent to me a year ago are slim to none. Every year, someone forgets, and I have to track them down and tell them to go cut me a switch. Don't be that guy. Don't make me whoop you.

Victims will be assigned soon after the sign-up deadline passes. The deadline for sending gifts will be the 10th of December, given that some will have to be sent internationally. There's some wiggle room on the deadline, but be sure to let your victim know if his/her gift will be late (you'll receive the sign-in info for the Secret Santa account when one of Santa's helpers PMs you with your victim's name and address, and you can post in this thread under that username to ask questions, etc.).

Please don't participate if you think you might not be able to follow through. Sometimes things beyond your control can come up, which is perfectly understandable, but if you're going to flake, for the love of Pete, let us know as far in advance as you can, okay? Okay. Also, when you receive your gift, let your Santa know that it has arrived. Please be gracious if you receive something you don't like. Thank your Santa, or one of the elves will keelhaul you (I think we all know which one).

When you sign up, you'll need to let us know the identities of your past three victims. If you don't remember who they were, you can find the threads here: 2012, 2011, and 2010.

I think that's everything! PM me if you have any questions/concerns/chocolate/praise that can't go in the thread.

And I'm serious about that switch, people. Don't test me and my evil elves.

So...

Name: Candice
Previous Victim(s): gothictheysay, Cath, and Froggy.
Likes/Dislikes: Ever since this started, I've just asked for something to amuse me, and it has yet to fail me. I hate anything banana or cherry flavoured, should Santa feel like sending me food. Oh, and I'm a vegetarian, though I don't know why you'd send me meat. Never hurts to be sure, though. I harbour fantasies about moving to some remote location to become a beekeeper/hermit. Right now I'm in the process of eliminating bulky possessions so moving house isn't such a pain in my bottom; things that don't take up an amazing amount of space would be appreciated. smile.gif

Oh boy.

I have been trying everything to get rid of a cold that is trying to attack me, since we're going to Italy soon. Vicks First Defence, folk remedies... everything. I am desperate. Or, I was. My sore throat is almost gone today. Yesterday, I ate five cloves of raw garlic, crushed up in sandwiches.

FYI: eating that much raw garlic makes your farts smell less like farts, and more like vampire repellent.

When menstrual products contain "odour neutralising" foulness, they should be forced to say so in huge, red letters as a warning. Not a tiny little thing on the corner of the package. When I need to buy that sort of thing, I am not in the mood to hang out in the aisle, weighing the pros and cons. I want to throw it in the trolley and move on to buying more important stuff, like half price Easter chocolate.

Thanks ever so much, Always, for making my crotch smell like old lady perfume.

Edit: I was so disgruntled by the perfumey smell, I actually wrote them an email about it. I've never done that with any other product. Not even the disgusting stuff that Sainsbury's claims is root beer.

Guys, I need spitting lessons.

You know when you're ill and you have a huge wad of phlegm sitting in your chest, and you think if only you could hack it up, you might start to remember how it felt when you weren't a walking mucus factory?

HOW do you cough that stuff up? Because this is what happens to me, every time:

1. Fill bathroom with steam in attempt to thin said phlegm.
2. Imitate the hocking noises that I've heard from chavs who spit on the pavement.
3. Choke on phlegm as it's on its way up.
4. Vomit.

I mean, technically I do what I set out to do, but I'd rather not vomit as it's happening, you know? Is there some sort of secret technique that I never learned, having grown up with a mother who forbade spitting contests?

One of these days, I may end up looking at one of the aforementioned chavs in wonder and saying, "How do you DO that?!"

EDIT: New development!

After a very... eventful and productive sneeze (which did not make me vomit), I am left looking at the black pepper. On a scale from one to Newt Gingrich's moon colony, how bad an idea is this?

TODAY is the gift sending deadline.

If you're running a little late, that's fine. Just make sure you let your victim know what is going on and when s/he can expect to receive a gift. Don't leave them in the dark, or I'll break out my stern voice and start counting.

You don't want to know what'll happen if I reach 3.
