I can try to get you another post. Guess what my movie is.

Famous quote from the movie, "I see dead people."
Spoiler, he's dead.
What's the movie?

lol Good luck in your quest! I like the super hero reveals. My son would approve!

What an awesome place that is! I love birds.

You have a lot of great ideas!

The only other one I can think of right now is maybe a photo contest. Have people submit photos of their birds (in person or online), and then have a voting period where others can vote on their favorite picture. You could charge a small registration fee for entering. Plus, the word of your rescue would spread because people will also try to get friends to go on the website to vote for their bird.

Also, when you have the photo shoot, maybe offer a variety of products with their birds picture on it? They could order mugs, magnets, etc., and the items would be sent to them later.

Just an idea. Or two. Anyways, good luck with it!

I just read Bradbury's book Something Wicked This Way Comes. Have you read that one? I enjoyed it. My husband is a big fan of Bradbury's work.

While changing my son's diaper, I got some poop on my hand. I can't go wash my hands until I deal with the wiggling one on his changing table, so I had to just use a wipe to clean the mess off my hand until I could get to the sink. After getting the wiggling one changed, dressed again, and put in a safe place; I forgot to go wash my hands for a while.

Don't tell my husband.

Oh, boy. I forgot how hilarious you guys can be! *waves at Mata, Spussy_Cat (Erm, I really don't mean to be rude, but who are you again?), and Cath* It's good to see that you all are doing well!

Mmmm, cookies! Did you bake the cookies yourself, Inky?

Yep, being poked in the head by a bird does hurt. Luckily there wasn't any blood, though. I hate the sight of blood.

After posting that message before, I thought of more updates I could've included but, of course, I have forgotten them by now again. Lets see here: got married, bought a home, and got a dog. That is really a good summary.

For a while after getting married, I was going to school and working, but now I'm doing the housewife thing. I guess gardening doesn't count as an extreme sport, huh? lol Gardening--I know that sounds exciting, huh? But I'm really liking it! It's nice to be outside in the fresh air and just do something so nice and relaxing. Plus, who can have anything against beautiful flowers? blink.gif

Prez really left on a good note, huh? laugh.gif Well, he was always nice to me. Glad you found the remote, Leo! I won't ask what you were doing with it, just put it in a safe place, please. Can you imagine if it gets into the wrong hands? We are talking possible world destruction. I am glad to hear that Craziness hangs around sometimes!

I really must get back to work here. If I don't get the bills paid and laundry finished, I can't run and play later. hehe

Take care, everyone!

Hi, everyone. smile.gif A little bird gave me a poke in the head, so I thought I would drop by. It was nice to read this thread and remember some of the people I have fond memories of from here! I hope that all of you are happy and doing well!

Update on my life: The biggest update would be that I'm happily married. I am so blessed to have such a kind and wonderful husband! He's the absolute best thing to ever come into my life.

Hmmm, maybe that is the only update I have. I am going on 30 now! Talk about feeling old. Lying to say I'm younger than I really am is becoming more and more tempting. lol

*hugs and waves to LoLo, Inky and Leo*

Some people I miss who I did not see post in this thread:

- Craziness (She was such a sweetie!)
- Jamie (For the life of me, I cannot remember his nickname other than that it has a "P" and "fish" in it somewhere. I really do need to find that remote control around here somewhere.)
- Spacehappy (Such a nice person to talk with!)

Okay, I really don't have anything else to say. lol Bye and take care, everyone!

Hi, everyone! I love the pictures. It looks like all of you had a really great time! It's sad that some of you who wanted to go couldn't make it. Blasted life--it really gets in the way sometimes! wink.gif

I voted for the guy's picture because I know that, when you were here last time, I guessed that you were a guy. I don't remember why I guessed that, but I figure I might as well stick with it anyways. tongue.gif

I think that the only way to prove to anyone that you have changed, is to show them over time that you have. You don't have to keep defending yourself against what you have said or done in the past. You apologized, and explained to them that you are trying to/have changed. I would say to leave it at that. If they say something childish or rude, just ignore their remarks. Either answer the teacher's question, or tell the teacher that you do not know the answer... but ignore any rude remarks that the other students say. Just be yourself, and they will eventually get over it.

I think.... unsure.gif lol

Dear Jonman,

A thread that you started brought this up, so I figured I should pester you with my question instead of Jaq.... hehe

Why is it that girls are judged more on their bodies than guys are? That's just wrong. Do you think there's any chance of this changing?

Thank you,
Not happy with guys dry.gif

I'm neutral. I don't really care... but I guess I do prefer the guy to be bigger than I am. He can be 5'7 or 6'5". He could be average weight for his height, or 100 pounds overweight. I'm really not picky about this....

QUOTE (spiffilicious05 @ Dec 15 2003, 09:11 AM)
::giggles:: hmm....things to do at a party...play quarters...and then strip poker laugh.gif

I've played strip basketball before! laugh.gif hehe But I didn't make it very far before I quit.... LOL We were in the front yard--I couldn't do that! lol

All I have ever done at parties (I haven't been to many), is drink and play games. Games: Moods, card games, truth and dare, etc.

*points at Leopold* No way, it was his idea! laugh.gif You could change the picture you used of me if you want to. My older picture from the family album was darker (I was told that could make me look older... lol), and I didn't have any make up on. That or the one where I'm making a silly face and sticking out my tongue! laugh.gif
