Girls have to fuss about to look good what with doing hair and makeup and wearing all sorts of uncomfortable undergarments.

Men just have to smell alright, comb their hair(if it's long enough) and practice basic hygeine

And it's not all men expect their girls to be size 10 beauty queens. In fact, having thought about that, most don't (certainly among my buddies).

Most my male buddies think a size 10 is a fat woman.......they like them around size 0-5

For all seriousness purposes, here's my two cents about the boys.

I adore them. Well, most of them. I'm lucky enough to have some absolutely wonderful, sweet, amazingly awesome guy friends whom I obviously think the world of. And at the top, there's that "one" guy who hasn't f[loud coughing by Mata]ed me over yet, and I'm doing absolutely dandy with and always have been despite people's attempts at shredding whatever relationship we've got. Maybe some of you ladies haven't had such luck with the males, but I assure you that some of them don't suck. You just have to watch out for the shallow ones that are out for nothing but a good lay and a nice attempt at shredding your heart into tiny pieces.

And ladies? As a bi-sexual, I love women too. I just haven't found one with a decent personality yet. Ugh. x.x

Just wanted to correct myself.......I don't think all men think that women should be size 0-5........I'm just saying most of my male buddies do.......which is part of the reason we're only friends, cause I couldn't ever be that small, and I couldn't handle a guy who would want me that small.

I've been out with people between the sizes 6-16/18ish. There's good things to be said about all sizes, but at the end of the day if you can't have a conversation with a person it doesn't matter what they look like.

I do that! But I also go to the gym a couple (or more) times a week. Either extreme would be rather boring.

I think men are beginning to look after themselves a bit more, although I'm not sure if this is anything to do with what women are telling them, I suspect that it is more likely that cosmetics manufacturers are desperately trying to exploit an untapped market. We all survived and looked fine before moisturiser was invented so why is it so urgent that we use it everyday now?

i dont know if its just the internet influenced men out there who think about themselves more, but it seems to me that
A) most of the guys ive met on message boards from europe seem a lot more open minded and concious [sp?] of themselves, and dont expect some skinny blonde skank creatures to grovel at their feet while they watch porn all day. unfortunately, a lot of american guys are like this.....but not all!
all of the guys who i have talked to on message boards from america have been on the younger side....so this makes me think, maybe since europe has tons of conflicting cultures, people are more open minded. its not that america doesnt have conflicting cultures, but we are still all one. so the men from europe will act like older versions of the teenagers from the US [most of them. no generalization is completely real] errr i guess this might not make any sense...its kind of hard for me to explain...and im not saying there were never guys before in the US who were great and cool and everything before the internet. but it seems like more of them are from europe and are older to me.
