Does anybody watch Angel here and is anyone else getting a little annoyed that it just doesn't seem to be going anywhere? Or worse, it is going somewhere but it's going to be a real let down?
Okay, I know what's going to happen in the next three episodes (I can't help but read a spoiler  ) and I've read a bit of a teaser for the final episode but none of it seems to be connecting up to a feasable ending.Any thoughts, comments or perhaps theories? -------------------- Art should be an expression of what humanity is capable of imagining - not limited to representing that which surrounds us - Demetrios Vakras

My friends and I watch Angel obsessively, but I'm several weeks behind... don't tell me what's happening! Although, I'm a bit pissed off about the whole Fred thing. Kind of a lame twist in the plot line, if you ask me.

The Fred thing has only just happened here - so I guess you're a few weeks ahead of us. I do think that it's a receipe for disaster though, ripping off the Willow incident from Buffy and the whole Seven of Nine thing from Star Trek.

After they killed doyil (I don't know how to spell it) I wasn't really interested.

The point of Spike is that now he's the best character in the whole thing and he gets to be cynical, take the mickey out of Angel and still save the world.

I've just recently started watching Buffy and Angel. I've only seen a few episodes of Angel, and I'm not really sure if they're old or new and I'm actually kinda lost when watching it. Also I am slighty bothered that Cordelia is one of the longest running characters.
Buffy I've seen the first season, some of the seventh season, and some of another season, not sure which one. Edit: p.s. Spike does kill again. And he can kill vampires just fine. |

Change of work schedule made me miss that episode.
 Hope to see the final episode. I think the characters of Gund and of Wesley have really grown and changed over the series. Oddly, in opposite directions. Sorry, what was the Fred twist? Liked the episode of Spike vs. the ghost of Wilfram and Hart. I'm told that the actor is part of a music group. No, will not spoil it.  Now know what happened to Fred. Must see more of final season. A friend muttered said rumour to me but I canna tell you where he heard it as I dinna know. He also muttered that they are trying to get the cast from the TV show to star. I hope it's true.
Unfortunately sometimes they are only rumours. Other rumours: -Angel made for TV movie to pick up after last episode. -Yet another disneyland ride being made into a film. I think my friends just like pulling my leg occasionally. *ok, i'm gonna go ahead and assume that we've all watched the last epi now, so if you haven't don't blame me if you read any spoilers!*
so what did people think of the last epi? i liked it. it kinda had a butch cassidy and the sundance kid feel at the very end, with the whole blaze of glory thing. i loved what spike decided to do with his last day, it was perfect for his character, and provided a great bit of humour in an otherwise serious show. i am however very peeved that the show was cancelled, especially when i read a rumour on buffyworld that next season there were supposed to be a few appearances from oz! curses to the wb! and yes, the epi "smile time" was greater than sliced bread! i thought it was just as good as buffy's "once more with feeling". gunn's line about having the "proportional excitability of a puppet" was pure genius! -------------------- i don't need eternal truth, i've got shadow puppets!
