It's a new book that's out this month by a chap called Stephen Poole, who's a painfully clever bloke who wrote an excellant analysis of videogames called 'Trigger Happy', which I also thoroughly recommend.

There's some extracts on the site - it looks like pretty heavy going (see the above comment about being painfullly clever), but some really really good stuff. I'll certainly be checking it out.
