Heya everybody! long time no speak! I've decided to use up this valuable web space and all of these pretty letters by talking to you about my wonderful wonderful scarf. I asked my Mum, sometime before I got back home from University for the holidays, if she would knit me a nice long scarf, so that I may wrap myself up and stay nice and warm and stuff!
Well, come Christmas day I recived the wonderful scarf, and I found that my darling mother had outdone herself in the knitting stakes. Now to describe it.. its very thick and wide.. about two foot wide when stretched out, yet its the length that is really outstanding.. Now, I'm about 6'3" - 6'4" and I can wrap the scarf once round my neck and both ends can still reach my ankles! I guesstimate that it's about 8 - 10 foot long... Oh, and its bright red! MMhhmm.. So warm

Sorry Sir Maxerpopple, thing is, it wasn't really a Christmas present per se anyway, so I thought I'd pop my admiration for a lengthly garment in the daft section

Then entire west coast isn't warm all the time. You know the pacific is actually colder than the atlantic? You know that where I live on the West Coast, even though we get the lovely over 100 degree weather in the summer, and do get to see snow about once every 7 years, it still get's cold enough that some people need scarfs. Krys, you talented goddess you! Mmm I use to know how to crotchet
 well I could make a really really long chain/string anyway, would that count? I wish I could find or have somebody make me a scarf. I haven't had a scarf for years. Last I remember wearing one was maybe 4 or more years ago? Damn. I would be grateful if I somebdoy got me one as a gift. I know my grandmother can knit, but doesn't often. I have a blanket the she knitted. Its cozy. I just wish I had a scarf. Scarves are amazing. Your scarf, yawn, is one to envy and admire. I wish I were as lucky as you. It could be another wonder of the world. Or Matazone, either way
