Rose: I got a LOT of sleep last night.
Thorn: I'm still tired... Thorn: ...despite also getting a lot of sleep today, too. Thorn: That pretty much lost me a day. Rose: Fortunately, a shop I want to visit today doesn't close until late \o/ Thorn: Didn't get to the Post Office in time to send something... oh well. Rose: Roast parsnips shall form part of my dinner this evening  Small things and an' all that...

Rose: Got South for Christmas
Thorn: it took 15 hours between North Scotland and Cambridgeshire, and another 3 to get further East Rose: my friend was incredible and drove amazingly Rose: everything is happy at my parents' house Thorn: no heating as they're waiting for oil to be delivered Rose: fire in the hearth! Thorn: Fell on the ice on Friday Thorn:  Rose?: going to A&E again tomorrow to see if it's a [thorn]fracture Rose: Happy. Rose: went to A&E for x-rays. It's not really a rose, but they are now digital which I think is AWESOME! DIGITAL X-RAYS, GUYS!
Thorn?: no fracture to be seen, but scaphoid fractures can take up to two weeks to be seen on x-rays Thorn: have to go back to the hospital in a few days to get more x-rays Rose: after a huge discussion/ arguement/ cry with my parents yesterday I feel amazing Rose: Mother: "Maybe I should tell you how proud I am of you. Rose: The kitchen is clean.
Thorn: None of the rest of the cleaning got done. Thorn: Friend's son aka the nearly nephew needed to be driven to the hospital for emergency day surgery. Rose: Teen is going to be fine with no loss of anything. He has painkillers, a week off school and eventually a neat scar that I will never see. Thorn: My nearly nephew had a rotten day. Rose: Tomorrow's my birthday and I have cake! Thorn: I also have laundry, vaccuuming and possibly should scrub down the bathroom. But, but, s'my birthday. : ( Thorn/Rose: Which I used to share with my Mom and now share with a younger, extemely talented friend. Rose: Cake.
