i hate aol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*grrr....* almost everytime i get on i get booted off. what the f**k! sorry i'm venting a little right now. does anyone else have the same problem as i have?

i have AOL...its slow and buggered my computer up...the bastards, anyway, we have a T1 at university eeee!! 15 meg/sec i'm not sure about the fire wall though...seems...not to be one anyway we're getting broadband soon...so that'll kick ass!

AOL does suck. My friend installed it for the free trial. Took me ages to redo all the settings it messed up trying to take over everything with the pathetic excuse for a browser it tries to use.
Apart from the fact that they suck they're rediculasly over priced aswell. They offer a 56k connection for the same I pay for my 128k cable. |

i had something almost as bad...was called tfi (the free internet)...gave the slowest 56k dial-up in the world and kicked you off every hour for it...

no one should ever feel left out in bitching about aol, i had it for a long time and im so glad i have broadband(ishness) now... i have DSL though, its not as fast as my good ol cable that i loved so dearly, i was so lucky with that, we got 1.5 megabit which is T1 speed (the upload sucked but thats not something i use too much, twas only 128k) and then i go to DSL which is 640k and 128k i know im bitching for nothing but honestly, i lost half the bandwidth!!! and now i see the download box!!! how could i!! i dont like that!! i dont want to see that horrid little window thats telling me "you are inferrior to see me, why dont you pay more money and get a better internet connection because i hat you" and then the DSL also has problems like our phone and internet will mysteriously cut out for 10 min, mind you this is the 10 min that im ever on the phone, so i get pissed when that happens... oh well at least i dont have aol....

I used to have this one called ic24 which was free weekends and evenings but kicked you off every hour. It was really good but it took ages to connect. I took full advantage of the evenings and weekend thing
