See, somebody asked me this question when I was younger, and I responded with the team that I supported at the time. But he decided to take the piss out of me for doing so. So, after that, I decided that I would not support any team (which surprises the **** out of some people). So, with the internet being a world wlde accessory (the same way that I see football) I decided to put this question in daily life (rather than media).

oh my god, i am the most hooked american to the world cup i love it. i have just gotten so into it! i am supporting portugal for a few reasons:
1) portugal is a cool place 2) the team is awesome & i love how everyone hates them muahaha 3) they are all flipping ridiculously sexyhotamazing *sigh* 4) i like their uniforms. they are just so pretty. 5) cristiano ronaldo is my future husband. i know those are probably the worst reasons ever but those are my reasons. -------------------- Love is real.

I just really don't like football. It's way too hyped up, and I'm sure if there wasn't such the massive following, and if the players weren't paid such gross amounts of money, and some of the fans weren't so aggressive and didn't enjoy beating the hell out of the opposing teams fans, then I'd probably enjoy it, but at the moment, I feel it's quite unethical.

For a few reasons really. The first being that I had never heard of them (them even being a place) before a few nights ago. Working in a sports lounge most of the time I end up watching alot of sports, but I'd never really seen much of the soccer world cup thing. Soccer it would seem just isn't that big in Canada. As I found out the Canadian team isn't even it. There for as they are some random little place who actually made it into this thing, They get all my support when I see the game being played. Them and England because England has that Beckham fellow on it and I reallly like his wifes jean line.
