Does anyone else find that, after being awake for 79hours, stairs and cupboard edges leap out at you and frighten you?

All I can say is avoid looking at chintzy pattern wallpaper and psychotroic substances. But definitely avoid the wallpaper.

Ah no young Jedi you have much to learn from a clumsy old git like me  I am always banging my knees, hips, ankles on parts of my desk usually on a daily basis. I've fallen up the stairs on occassion too. I've also slammed my own fingers in car doors, fallen down stairs, gotten attacked by doors, hit by stationary cars and did a number of things that seemed like a very good idea at the time, but just led to pain and an overall feeling of stupidness. -------------------- Everytime the blue screen went out, Stan the weatherman suffered an existential crisis.

My best lack of sleep story comes from when I nipped over to France for three days, and didn't sleep. When I got home I went to bed only to be woken by a phone call shortly afterwards. Now, on the way back I had run out of Rizlas, so when woken up I decided to get some more. It was only after I'd walked to the supermarket and discovered it was closed that I realised it was 2AM and dark.

Clearly the stairs that attack most often are the metal, spiral variety.
The store I worked in in NYC had some. And you had to go up them to get to the office. I always banged my shin against at least a few steps. I'm convinced that it rotated too tightly or something, because they were impossible to get up or down those stairs without hurting oneself...especially while trying to balance a till and your purse while wearing a heavy winter coat. Yeah. Not a good time to be had by all. -------------------- I love you in a way that is mystical and eternal and illegal in 20 states.

yeah, im in indie right now and today i walked into a open door, my aunt was talking and i wasnt paying attion and i walked into a door that was open in the hall, ive also become freindly with there glass door, you know the knie a sheet of glass that your never quite sure if its open or not...

My father's a carpenter, right, and he took me to see this house he's working on as a curiosity. So we went up to what would be the dining room, and I smacked the piss out of myself when I tried to walk through a glass door. It was too clear to see. Then when we went up on the roof, one story high, I got my foot caught in a scaffolding and nealy wet my pants. Luckily he was near the chimney, checking something else.

Well, when I was 7 we went to America. It was the first time in my memory that I had been there. So obviously screen doors were a new thing to me. Well one day, my brother walks through them. It takes three people, out of which one was a nuclear scientist and another a doctor, to take AGES to fix it again. As soon as they get it up, my other brother walks through it. OK so now after more baffling its up again. They're about to go home, when I run through it (we were playing a game) and land sprawled against it on the floor...you shoud've seen their faces!

Although I guess that's the difference between the two cultures, when I'm programming I try not to stop for as long as possible because once you're in the zone you know it's going to take you ages to work out what all those variables do again. Oh absolutely. The whole creative process is based on being able to take breaks and get your mind off of things, that's when you come up with your best ideas. The best animations I've done have all been based on dreams I've had.
