I like rock but ska is cool too. I hate rap and pop beyond all reason and classical and jazz are nice.

i put ska... because im in a ska band... (i play bass) but i tend to swing more towards face to face, fifteen, and rise against...

I like rock, punk, metal, goth, industrial, some: pop, R&B, dance, techno, and a little contemporary country. I also like Eminem, DMX, and a few other rappers. don't really know ska.

Dude, Taylor, there is so much of the music world you don't know.
I'm not voting until there are more options added or I'm nulling it. I've had to go for rock n roll. I like all the types of music, and then some more on top though. Usually I like my metallica and iron maiden, but at the moment i'm into The Rat Pack, and all the easy listening stuff. All depends on my mood. Classical is great to realx and chill out to.

I guess I'm the only one to vote classical. Since classical can be a broad subject, I'll narrow my preferences to baroque and modern, though any will do, those are the most enjoyable depending on my mood.

I listen to a lot of "classical" music. What I listen to is mostly contemporary, I guess one would say, such as Samuel Barber, Aaron Copland, David Holsinger, and such. I like to listen to Jazz, whenever it comes on Western's (Western Kentucky University) NPR. I do listen to Bluegrass too, but I don't consider it country music. I do not like country music, and I hate pop music.

I picked ska. It was a close competition between ska and rock. I chose ska because I've never heard a dodgy ska song (I am by no means saying there aren't any out there, I've just not had the misfortune to hear any), and I've heard more dodgy rock songs than I'd care to mention. Or even think about.

I choose not to vote. I think the choice of music genre's you have given is too limited. And I like several, not just one.
They include: Metal, Heavy Metal, Dance, Trance, Electronica, Goth & Rock.
