Personally I was brought up on the Beatles so I had to pick them, although I don't mind the Stones. You don't have to dislike one to choose the other, only choose 'both' if you reeeeeally can't decide who you prefer. Happy voting !! xx

I had to pick the Beatles because they are the most significant band in the history of Rock and Roll. They shaped the face of rock more than any other band ever has. Also, their music is just wicked keen.

Has to be the Stones. *puts on Paint It Black* Ahhh, that's good stuff.

Hmm, tough call...
The Beatles were mouldbreakers, bein the fathers of pop music an all that, an they did some nifty stuff an tried out a few different things before they split up. But it has to be said that they never got that far out of their mould. The Stones were more subversive an therefore never were gonna be so popular amongst the GP. Pity really, they rocked more than the Beatles ever did, an they did diversify into other areas as they left the 60s. Their dalliance with Disco in the 70s was largely pap (as were most other ventures, see Rod Stewart and Aretha Franklin) but "Miss You" was a top choon. Today, I think I'd opt fer the Stones of the two to slap on the stereo. Ask me tomorrow an I may be of the opposin opinion. I think on the whole I'd go fer the Beatles though. They were consistently better quality overall. -------------------- The author of this post is entirely fictional and is intended for entertainment purposes only. I couldn't decide!!!
Damn you Jannah for making an obviously difficult question. No one can deny what The Beatles did was great. Their music was amazing, especially their later stuff, and they started a music revolution of sorts. But The Rolling Stones paved a way for more, well alternative, behaviour with their anitcs. They were pre-punk punks!!! Aysha xxx -------------------- I'd love to stay here and be normal, but it's just so overrated!!!
