Rose: It's almost summer, so I'm allowing myself some time for internetting aside from Facebook. Thorn: Not quite summer... ^ Yeah, our dungeon master couldn't be there, so we turned Settlers of Catan into a drinking game instead. I love my life and my friends. Oh, and I won. By six victory points.
Rose: I can't brag about this on Facebook because people will hate me, but I got paged to Sir Nocturne  , who is a Triad. (Triads = the best fighting company in our kingdom. Like. Rose: Celebrating Yule tonight. Thorn: Waiting for my ride. Rose: Who I'm kind of crushing on. Rose: Going to Tampa tomorrow. Thorn: Preparing for a super awkward drive there, but meh. Rose: Will see my knight. (Actual knight, not "ohmygosh:wub:" knight.) Thorn: Have done nothing to prepare for any of my exams and have almost straight F's this quarter. Rose: But I can get straight F's and still pull off C's (weighted, so a 3.0) for the semester. High school is odd. As long as I pass four classes in the next two years, I can graduate, and still get into UCF lol. Rose: It's spring and all the lovely spring foliage is in bloom. Magnolias, cherry trees, tulips, daffodils,etc.
Rose/Thorn: Tried multiplayer minecraft this past weekend. Rose: The server held 300+ people with minimal to no lag, helpful admins, and charming hosts. They'd set up an area for Spleef, King of the Ladder and Bartering/shop thing. The creative skins people came up with were excellent. Most people seemed friendly. Thorn: The server with 300+ people meant that nearby resources were decimated. Not being familiar with multiplayer I didn't know how to chat privately so that was frustrating. Didn't' know how to use the Shop to trade up the resources I did manage to gather which was frustrating. Had to deal with griefing which was new to me and yup frustrating. Rose/Thorn: Mentioned my frustrations to an Admin and got banned. An elegant solution that I'm okay with. When I next give multiplayer a go I'll try something a bit more reasonable. Picked a situation that wasn't the best one for success. Tossed into an ocean is not the best way to learn to swim. Grin. Rose/Thorn: Flirted with cute banker guy. Provided amusement for his coworker. Felt a total idiot. I'm not keen to continue with the flirting if I'm making a fool of myself. Think I'll walk away from that as well. Rose: Better about packing a lunch to work. I'll have more spare pennies for the upcoming concerts/shows/amusements this summer. Thorn: Grin. Thorn: Haven't talked to the boy today. We're in dire need of srstime. Meh. Rose: Classes start Monday. Kind of nervous. Kind of ready to resume life. (Technically quit high school, but am labelled as dual-enrolled full time, so free college as long as I delay some classes, woo.) Thorn: Considerably less excited about the above than I should be. Rose: Summer is coming. Rose: Got to see one of my favorite people last weekend, for the first time since she moved to Tennessee. She made me the cutest hat. Man, I miss her. Rose: Did pretty well in the sword and board aspect of the tournament. Made it to the quarter-finals before going 1/3 with a sword knight. ...The sword knight that my friend moved to Tennessee for.
