Windows XP allows you to name your computer, so we named it Garfield.

My current pc doesn't deserve a name. My next one will probably be called Donald though.

Mine just gets called 'You Damn Blasted Sodding Waste of Space' or other such titles and as for Dad's which I've been useing of late I don't even waste my breath on! Dad has this amazing abilty to screw his computers up! Mine though it's older and still run on win95 I don't tend to have that many problems with but I cant get on line on that at the moment so am going mildly nuts!!! mad.gif blink.gif

sorry for the rant it got away form me there! dry.gif

I do name my cars though! But I also have a tendcy to kill them to!

Well, I never think of naming some things, others people go "you name THAT?"

Sam is the name of my houseplant that lives in my dad's bathroom though.

With this computer, it's probably earned the name Stupid. Sorry, Stupid. tongue.gif That's what I call it most often, and what it responds negatively to.

I used to name everything when I was a kid. I named the computer we had at the time, but I haven't named this one. Or my laptop (though that one probably should have a name so I can insult it more effectively).

I don't name my computer. It is a nameless wretch. If it actually behaved I might favour it with a name, but as of now I don't feel like conferring upon it a name.

I named my computer at home. It was HAL, after the 2001: A Space Odyssey computer.

Unfortunately my new computer does not yet have a [edit: name]. Hmmm... this perhaps needs some thought.

Well the pc I had before that (an older but reliable model) I had indirectly named Baby. We were together for 3-4 years me and Baby. I got my sisters' pc after she got a new one, and it has all my stuff on it, but I haven't named it yet. Takes usually a year for that to happen.
