 Leaving for Brazil; Study Abroad for a Month |

So yup. For the past few weeks, I've been stressing and rushing around trying to get passports, plane tickets, and visas all in order. It all comes to a head tomorrow... Where I need to hope our flights line up well.
I'll be going to Sao Paulo in the south of Brazil. The program goes from May 12th to June 13th. I don't know how much internet access I'll have while I'm down there and I'll be sure to buy lots of post-cards from places I go to send to people when I get back. Wish me luck tomorrow and Have a nice month everyone!

Hey All!
I'm in Brazil! It's been a tough road to get here though. Between delayed buses, visa difficulties, ticket malfunction, and taxi drivers from Hell, it's a miracle that I'm here and still sane. Well... No less sane than before this trip started. :-p I get to check the internet here for like 20 minutes free a day (if I understood their Portuguese correctly), so I plan to periodically check up and see how los Forumites are doing. Wow, a month went by REALLY fast. Today's the last day we're in Canoas, in Rio Grande do Sul. Tomorrow morning, we'll be on a plane to Rio de Janeiro for the last weekend of our abroad experience. The trip's been unforgettable. Definately worth the money. I also earned six credit hours for my school-work so extra funness there. I've gone from knowing no Portuguese to being comfortably conversant in it. I also have a newfound appreciation for English being my native language. I didn't get to go to any Amazon Fires or I would have done something for you, Mata. :-p
Anyways, we're leaving the university shortly to get back to the Hotel to start packing. (yay). I'll post more when I get a moment to breathe and a computer to use. Tchau! -------------------- -Cerin
