I'm about five episodes away from the end of season five of Babylon 5. It really is awesome and has stood up to the test of time amazingly well.

I've finished it now and really enjoyed it. It did seem like it just ended at an arbitrary point though. I didn't like season 5 as much as the previous seasons but I would have liked to see more of the telepaths (Bester is so awesome) & the stuff on Centauri prime.

Also just watched season 1 of Game of Thrones, omfg so good. Highly recommended.

And yesterday I went to see Arrietty, the new studio Ghibli movie based on the Borrowers, which did not disappoint. Such adorable little thieves!

I'm currently going through the first series of Arrow again. I watched it when it was first shown, but my best friend has moved in with me and hadn't seen it. He's a huge comic book geek, so he's pointing out all the DC Comics in-jokes that I didn't know.

How about yourself?

I've just finished season 4 of Game of Thrones. I still like the fact we Brits can do a major series like this, even though we can't actually get it on terrestrial telly over here.

88 and counting...

I've started watching Justified after being nagged by my boss for several months. I'm about five episodes in, and currently it's pretty standard except for very well written dialogue. I'm told it gets incredibly good soon...

I really like sitcoms like HIMYM or TBBT, or that 70s show, but its so annoynig that first 2 - 3 - sometimes 4 sesons are really good and then its just not funny anymore. Happened to al this shows. Well the cocept gets boring i guess.

It's difficult to keep old characters feeling fresh, I suspect.

I'm on the second season of The Following at the moment. It's a serial killer police series with Kevin Bacon. It's a bit overwrought at times, and it desperately wants to be 24 while never quite reaching that level, but it's good fun.

I've just started watching Fortitude. The first episode reminds me a bit of Twin Peaks, only slightly less unfathomable. Seems like it might be a good one. Although this is stopping me from getting any further with Breaking Bad...

We munched through DareDevil series 1 on Netflix in about four days. Very enjoyable overall, but I'm not particularly keen on the casting of Wilson Fisk - he just seems like a really sad man, not the powerhouse of brooding intimidation and fear that I would expect; however, I'm wondering if they've done this on purpose to give him some character growth in the second season.

Supernatural. Sort of. At season 6 currently, but have been for about half a year now.

I've not caught up on the most recent season, but I've often enjoyed Supernatural over the years. It's always a reliable standby for when there's nothing much else that appeals.

Does seem like it, doesn't it? :') It does make it fun to look back at earlier seasons, though. While introducing a friend to the show, I happened to see some earlier episodes again. Everyone looked so very young.
