I'm not really sure where this belongs so I decided it fell under the Daft heading...
Do you remember those interesting individuals that used to frequent the forums? People like Quoth(The Raven) and Jimi Jimi? What about WeeJ? Or Silver Star Angel of Da Towers? Who here remembers those past-forumites? Who here still remembers the Matabar or the many Harems? I wonder who still talks to their Flying Cats? Who still recognizes the power of being spangled? personally, I try not to focus on past Matazone too much. That was one of the reasons I was absent for so long - some of those memories are so good that when you get to remembering them, you start to miss them a lot. obviously I'm not just talking about 'How Much Do You Miss Industrial Kybosh?' or the Matabloid or Matamon or Corpline, e-bachelorette, Mata's anim survivor (that corp voice guy did NOT win, sadly), but that was also a big part of it. I'm glad that the forums are still going strong and that all the new people can make their own memories here the way I did with cand, Lo, Missy, InKy, Leo, Dayan, Cheez, Jon, Ravein, Tara, everyone - this place just has a way about it that anyone, at any age, can just come here to chat and feel instantly surrounded by best friends.

I remember them all.
 I also remember that it was some sort of huge shock that I was only 12, and now we've got 8 year old members! It's kinda weird though, it's like as I grew up and got a bit more serious, the forums have too. But the people here have always been here for me when I needed it. When I had just moved to a new school in seventh grade and had no friends, people were here to goof off with, and now that I'm older and am dealing with more difficult things, you're all still here. It's pretty freaking awesome, to put it simply. Porce is another one of those people I've been meaning to attempt to stalk for a decent catch up, but haven't done so yet. I did talk to CheeseIsFunny (Jon) a little while ago, and from what I remember, he mentioned he'd joined the military.

Strange how I decided to stumble upon this site again, hm?
I was doing a bit of reminiscing. I joined this site when I was 13 or 14, and I was really just looking for a place to fit in. I felt comfortable here, but also as I grew older, I realized I was dependent. My social interactions in real life had been hindered. Feyliya. There's a name that brings back memories.
It's lovely to see so many old friends popping back in. The forums aren't as busy as they once were partially because I've not had time to make new animations, which reduces the amount of new people passing through. Perhaps the Halloween animation bumped things up a bit? Jonman is happy, well, and living in Seattle with his wife, Kisah (that's her username on here). I heard from him a couple of weeks ago. Is that a proper medical doctor title? If he studied dentistry then he's still a mister. There are many doctors who are dentists, but not all dentists are doctors. Either way, good on Tigersong. It's a very worthwhile profession... Even if it does make me think of the song from Little Shop Of Horrors.
