My good friend Amanda just had her first baby! She hasn't been online for a while so I didn't know she'd actually had her baby until just now!
At 3:38pm on February 7, Prudence Cornelia Snellink was born. Apparently Amanda was incredibly lucky to have an incredibly short labour time! Labor was 6 hours and pushing was 8 minutes!!  I don't know why but I'm so proud of her

I have a friend who was in labour for five days, so that makes pretty much everyone feel better. The baby was wrapped up in the cord so wasn't dropping, hence the long time, so she had a caesarean and now mother and baby are both fine and dandy. Poor little mite though; not an easy beginning in the world.
