Ok, lately I've been playing alot of Counterstrike:source online. Alot as in i get up early before school and I play from when i get home till when i sleep (with breif breajs for things like this and food). My friends are all saying I play it too much yet I disagree. I still have a social life and i still do everything i need to do, although i do tend to see a M4a1 in my hands everytime i close my eyes. That could be simply due to my desire to kill people.
So I ask you what is gaming addiction? -------------------- “Come to the edge.”
“We can't. We're afraid.” “Come to the edge.” “We can't. We will fall!” “Come to the edge.” And they came. And he pushed them. And they flew. Remember, be yourself. Unless you suck. Imitation is the highest form of praise. |

Wishing to stay infront of a computer screen battling imaginary enemies at every opportunity instead of spreading your activities. A desire to obtain more time to play these games to the detriment of other needed aspects of your life.
Hey, I used to be the same. Loved CS waaaay back when it was still on beta 2 or something. I've also nearly been addicted to other games now and then as Witless probably knows. If you find yourself craving the game just take a step back. Get a girlfriend. Or if you arn't feeling that masochistic take up wrestling bears or something. -------------------- "Too often Fate,

I've got a mild addiction to Zoo-Keeper on the Nintendo DS at the moment. I know that it's a bit bad because, at the beginning of tonight's Wing Chun lessons, when we were told to close our eyes to calm our mind ready to learn I could see tiny giraffe heads in a grid. I think I should cut down, but I managed to finished normal mode in one credit tonight and I'm now top of the high-score table for that mode. Yay!

Um... I can't really help you there, buddy. I'm a big fan of games and I'm known to play a new game (like Devil May Cry 3 or Viewtiful Joe) fanatically until I beat it, but I can usually pull away from them to do things like have sex or go out on a date. So... I reccomend having sex.

Hi guys,
I'm little_bear. I'm here because, well, I used to be a gaming addict. There were times where I'd sit up until the early hours, either playing FF VIII, Metal Gear Solid or Gran Turismo. The latter was a killer - I would spend entire days winning race after race, planning ahead, tuning up my car, saving up to buy other cars. I often went without meals. Then, I got a PC capable of playing the latest games. Half Life 2 came out, as did Counter Strike: Source and I was hooked. It was World of Warcraft that was the big killer though - I would play that until dawn; grinding mobs, running instances, crafting, grinding money. Those activities became my life. *sobs* -------------------- People should not be afraid of their governments, governments should be afraid of their people.
