I have lots and lots of my favorite cookies and they are so easy to make I thought I'd share the recipie with you all

100g of:
Plain flour
Porrage Oats (not instant)
Caster sugar
Butter
1 tablspoon golden syrup
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda

Oven at gas mark 4 (medium)
Big big saucepan
Butter, suage, syrup - melt gently over low heat
Add dry stuff
Stir stir stir use a wooden spoon
Leave to cool a bit
Very very well greased baking sheets
Walnut sized blobs of cookie mix, at least 3" apart these cookies are wide and flat
so I get about 6 on a baking sheet approx
Top shelf of over for 10 mins max
Take out
Leave to cool a bit
Lift off with palate knife (or fish slice) onto wire rack
Wait till cold
Scoff.

I made doube the amount cause they are so popular, they freeze well and are lovely served with ice cream instead of wafers.
Great for kids to make as you can melt the fat and sugar in the microwave and then pour it onto the dry stuff which is safer than using the stove top.

Try them they are good, and tell me your favorites I'm in a baking mood and looking for new recipies!
