Okay, this isn't so much as a day but rather a month. I've been having a rather large string of bad luck lately and I can't get out of my funk.

I totaled my car at the beginning of school, which was bad but hey we still had the family car.

I got a call during school on thursday that my parents had been in a car accident. I got a hold of my mom and dad, they're okay but our car is totaled.

The car that I was going to buy had an oil leak and transmition problems (needless to say I didn't buy it).

My computer (not lap top - desk top) went kaplooie

Hospital bills that were supposed to be covered by our insurance aren't being covered so we owe 2,000 dollars

The money from my accident has been spent by my father

We have no car, and my parents decided that we aren't going to get one for a few months (in this town everything is so far apart you need a car)

My parents have been fighting nonstop since the accident

And now I might not get to see righteous on holloween like we've had planned for four months.

sad.gif bad day

very bad day
Our phone keeps dying

Oh Dear. *hugs* That sounds very horrible, terrible, not very good at all, and very bad indeed.

Oi Matazone! Spiffy needs a hug!

Things will not always be rotten. Things will not always be hard. You are wonderful and deserve good things.

Heya, Spiff!

Just remember:

1. Try to keep good thoughts.

2. Although I personally question the Bibles' pedigree, it does have a lot of good advice, including: '...This, too, shall pass...'

3. Find ways to distract yourself.

4. Don't dwell on what's wrong... try to think about what you still have.

5. find someone sympathetic, with whom to talk face to face-a sympathetic ear allways helps...

6. If you find yourself constantly depressed for more than two or three days, it might be a good idea to check out your counties' local Mental health center. Don't be brave, and try to tough it out. If nothing else, they can provide a friendly ear... and, generally speaking, their services are provided on a sliding scale, according to ability to pay.

Take it from someone who spent far too long suffering 'nobly' in silence: There are times when we need other people, and periods of depression - whether temporary, as I suspect yours is, or chronic, as mine is - are among those times.

and always remember Annie:

"The sun'll come out, tomorrow..."

Hang in there...

I love you, sweetie. Be strong. You and your family are brave people. You can endure this. I know you can.
