I don't think she's (I'm sure it's a girlie) meant to be eating them.
I think that she was wrapping her nans Christmas present (a nice vase, don't you know) and the sellotape got away from her, as it is wont to do. Now, as you can see she's made quite a mess of out of this and managed to get herself all tangled up. As chance would have it, while she was getting tangled, a pipe burst in her kitchen. Oh no!! The room's filling with water - that's going to bugger the carpets up, I can tell you. In a wild bid for escape she is trying to gnaw her way out. Yup.

Actually, that picture happens to be of Setsuna, from a very odd Manga/Anime mini-series/OVA-ish thing called Angel Sanctuary, and that's a man. Funny story, the angel wings are because he is the reincarnate of an angel that waged war against god, called Alexiel. Alexiel, the angel, has fallen in love with Setsuna's sister (Alexiel is a female, btw) so in turn, Setsuna fancies his sister, and they are on the run from demons, and the police, eventually. The demons want to kill Sarah (Setsuna's sister) because she is the one thing binding Alexiel in the human form (because if Alexiel didn't have Sarah to love anymore, she'd have no more use to remain on earth, and therefore try to defeat god, because all of god's angels are corrupted)....so....there you have it. The wrap that Setsuna is attempting to eat is either symbolism for the binding he has to the angel and to the apocalypse, or it's some artist's attempt at making Setsuna a little more sexually appealing after he snogged his sister. --------------------  "Savior" isn't the right word, but it's the first word that comes to mind. |
