I'll answer this one seeing as it's been answer several times already! Mata has stopped doing the T-shirts cause he been offered the chance to sell them in shops round the Uk (and they were taking up way to much space in his flat) it's still not completely definate yet but he will be keeping us updated. So no he wont be opening the shop again I'm afraid. There a chance it might go further than the UK but thats wont be happening till after the Uk side sorted. There are bag coming out sometime soon.

That about covers it doesn't it Mata?

Yes, that's all prety much spot on, thanks Cath.

I was selling T-shirts and running the shop every day of my life for nearly three years, and eventually I got a good offer that would mean I would have to work less. I would have been silly not to take it.

The upshot is that the on-site shop has gone. There are plans to eventually try to get the full range built up to in shops across the country, and hopefully the world, but at the moment we're just starting with Little Goth Girl bags and only in the UK.

The bags should be arriving in shops around abouts now, so if you're near a small gothy shop in the UK then have a look.

We're hoping that we will get a range of other Little Goth Girl stuff out next year, but for the moment it's just bags.

In due course I intend to get Mittens, Mr Snaffleburger, and Samurai Lapin things made, but don't hold your breath. It takes a huge investment by the company doing this (the lovely people at Blue Banana) to start up this kind of thing and even a company their size has some limitations on their resources!

Oh, while I'm here, to clear this up, there is no 'they' about this website, it's just me. There is some technical proding done by Barry, AKA Mr Fuzzy on these forums, but the things that you see on here/the running of the shop and that kind of stuff has always previously been done by me. It just goes to show, a big organised website really can be run by one person if they are prepared to put enough time into it. This site ate my life, and by letting another company run the merchandise it means that I get a bit of that life back.

Blue Banana are the lovely chaps who have licenced my things, and those ones in the shop are the remainder of the stock that I had in my room. If there's loads in Exeter then I'm not sure how many there will be in other places, because I only had about 120 left at the end of my sale.

Nice to see someone being enterprising and putting my things on eBay already, although the badge is nothing to do with me, so I may have to have words with the vendor of that. There are a couple of other designs of bags and wallets, but the most popular with the distributors has been the sunset image, so you'll probably see a lot more of them around than anything else.

So, Thursday night I walked into my local tattooist to get a piece of worked priced up (appointment booked for the 10th March, watch this space). Never been to this place before but seen and heard good things.

Walking around - lo and behold, LGG bags!!! I got very excited, and then I noticed on the counter - LGG wallets!!!

Mata - you have managed to extend to all the way to the town that time forgot, Chippenham. biggrin.gif

Hmm... I suppose this means I'll have to save enough money for a plane ticket to the UK...
Or perhaps just check out eBay.

Whenever I search for things like Little Goth Girl I seem to find them being sold by people who say something like.

"Matazon[e] is a popular alternative brand..."

*me reminds himself to purchase some Mata Haggis when he next goes shopping*

Edit: Ebay Perfect Example - not too sure on the spelling of the seller though.

ROFLMAO! That's pretty funny! Hopefully whoever buys the bag either knows about this place, or will follow the site link on the bag itself! laugh.gif

This is made by Matazone, a very popular alternative brand, and therefore a very high quality product

^ebay description for the other bag

Unintentionally telling the truth, as this bag was made by Matazone. Just not made by a brand, rather a person named Matazone. Kind of makes your head spin, don'tit?
