Commie and I would like to announce our e-engagement, and invite you all to our e-wedding this Thursday the 11th of November at 9pm (GMT).

Bring drinks, food, pressie's (Bush out of power wouldn't go a miss), and of course your beautiful selves!! biggrin.gif

The Frog and the Commie

The Frog and the Commie went to sea
In a beautiful pea-green boat,
They took some honey, and plenty of money,
Wrapped up in a five pound note.
The Frog looked up to the stars above,
And sang to a small guitar,
"O lovely Commie! O Commie, my love,
What a beautiful Commie you are,
You are,
You are,
What a beautiful Commie you are."

Commie said to the Frog, as they sailed through the bog,
'How charmingly sweet you sing.
O let us be married, too long have we tarried,
But what shall we do for a ring?'
They sailed away for a year and a day,
To the land where the Bong-tree grows,
And there in the wood a Piggy-wig stood,
With a ring in the end of his nose,
His nose,
His nose!
With a ring in the end of his nose.

Dear Pig, are you willing, to sell for one shilling
Your ring?' Said the Piggy, 'I will.'
So they took it away, and were married next day,
By the Turkey who lives on the hill.
They dined on mince, and slices of quince,
Which they ate with a runcible spoon;
And hand in hand, on the edge of the sand,
They danced by the light of the moon,
The moon,
The moon!
They danced by the light of the moon.

-- Edward Lear

can be the stupid one here who asks for an explanation of the reasoning behind all this e-engagement & e-marrage stuff because I'm not sure I understand.

Cangratulations to Commie & Frog, even if I don't understand something then if it makes you happy thats great!

Ah, the old days of Matazone...we used to have stuff like this all the time. Everybody was related to everybody else, we were an incestuous bunch. People would e-marry each other, and the n00bs we adopted were our e-children, and we had whole big virtual families.

A bit before the appointed time - see the first post - we'll make another thread for the ceremony. Everybody's invited to attend!
