Depends,
My coat is leather and jeans are leather which I like better than if they were pvc, but my skirt, hotpants & dress are pvc which is lighter and shinyer and more flexable than leather!

I've put both because that's actually a damn hard question.

I love my long leather jacket and wouldn't ever consider wearing a PVC one. However, I prefer my PVC trousers to my leather ones (mainly beacuse my bum looks amazing in the PVC). I prefer my boots to be leather over PVC.

I think it really depends on the outfit. You have to be a little careful with PVC as in some cases it can be very unforgiving.

I love both, but prefer PVC over leather as its flexable and shinier - Latex is Uber though (damn me not being able to afford stuff)

I put both as well.. they are both good for diffirent things.
Leather does indeed have a deelishus smell, and I think it is probably warmer.
PVC is nice because it's more stretchy, and no cows need to be killed to get it. and everyone loves cows!

but then again there are downsides to both.
the leather smell might actually get annoying after a time, and , of course, there will be one less cow for each jacket. (not that the cow wasnt on its way to McDonalds anyway, but..)
And PVC is just about worthless if ripped.. I just got this awesome PVC jacket from a thrift store (it actually looked and felt like leather.. even had the smell!) but I soon found out why it was there.. there were rips along the sides, zipper, and shoulders. I'm trying to fix it, but.. T_T;;

Yes, cows are indeed tasty. However, they do use lambskin as well. Lambs are even tastier. tongue.gif I think they're both good in their own separate ways of course, but leather is so much less expensive than a good quality latex and, frankly, there's a lot more than you can do with it too.

Leather for coats, biking leathers, tight trousers etc, either for tops +short skirts or boots.

Mmmmm... bikers....

LEATHER!!!

The look, the smell, the feel it's just... Leather!
How can you not bow down before it's beauty and power!

Plus I do look pretty good in it, but leather makes most things look good.

Can you tell I just adore the stuff? biggrin.gif

I hope you guys are kidding when you act like (when referring to PVC) it's PVC pipes we're talking about. In case you're not, to let you know, PVC is also used to make a stretchy plastic fabric that is very shiny. It's kind of like pleather, only very expensive. There are also PVC pipes, which are great at insulating stuff, but they don't make good clothing.

I wear a polo more or less every day, it's dress code. Anyway, the preppy look goes well with my big glasses and complete lack of body decoration.

And I had no idea PVC is used in real clothing.

WHAT ELSE HAVEN'T THEY TOLD ME?!

You honestly had no idea? I thought you knew and said that to emphasize your disgust/be a little insulting, lol. tongue.gif Just make a search for PVC on the 'net and you'll come up with a few companies that make clothing out of it. You should at least check it out, even if it's not something you'd wear.
