Strict parents suck.
It sounds fickle, petty and immature of me, but i was really looking forward to seeing this guy tonight and now i can't because my parents are strict. Plus, he's in public education so he has tons of curfews and stuff and today was pretty much a one off, consequently i'll be starved of his presense for at least another week and i haven't seen him since last Saturday as it is. He's a new guy too and i've only actually met him the once so he'll probably lose interest pretty quickly now.
Right now i'm just feeling pretty sorry for myself and i didn't really have anywhere else to turn as it's Friday, and predictably, all my friends are out.
Sorry for being such a pathetic little...ninja. ph34r.gif

Know that feeling, but remember, there's always someone worse off than you, at least he's not 7000 miles away and no longer visiting for Christmas even though it was planned since the summer...

....what? unsure.gif

Don't apologise you're allowed to feel a bit down just not for long ok?

I have a bad habit of bouncing on people in the attempt to make them smile, could be tricky over the internet you might regret it! tongue.gif

Just picture him sat there with an evening of utter loneliness ahead of him may not be true but is still an entertaining image, just make it up to him next time. biggrin.gif

It Purrs? I so need speakers Grr...

Apologies for the high-jacking, I always find sleep helps when I'm feeling down, wake up feeling lots better, don't let them get you down, it's not the end of the world wink.gif

Seven days seems like a long time, but it will pass and you'll get to see him again. If he's really interested then he will have been waiting for you. If he wasn't worth your efforts then he won't, and you will know that you deserved someone better.

It's true, although present things can be very torturous, you just have to think about the fact that it will pass and you will be relieved, be it by seeing this guy in a week or whatever...eventually, you just have to wait it out. That's actually my advice about the whole of adolescence. You just need to wait it out...s'very hard, but no choice.

Just occupy your time with something that interests you.

Thank you everyone for the advice in response to my slightly childish quibble. smile.gif I'm actually very impressed that so many of you replied. biggrin.gif
And as for SPS's icon...now there's a remedy if ever i saw one! Genius. I'm sorry to hear about your guy too...christ i seem so utterly feeble in comparison. That must truely suck, but surely the homecoming part will be extra special when it does happen...and if you've held on this long then your relationship is obviously strong enough to survive.
As it happens, sleeping on it did help and i woke up to 2 texts of 'wish you were here'-ness, which needless to say, was rather nice and reassuring, so i'm in high spirits once again. smile.gif
