well what did you eat today.
and would you like to share the recipe.
it's just amazing how many people get old enough to leave home and do but can't cook a decent meal.

Why bother learning to cook, when instant ready meals, and such like, are so much easier and faster and cost just as much?

I haven't made anything to eat today but I've had a packet of crisps (salt and vinegar), a slice of quiche (broccoli), an iced bun and a chocolate flake.

I am the epitomy of a healthy eater! laugh.gif

I can make a yummy mushroom rissotto, I just need the mushrooms and I'm too lazy to buy mushrooms very often.

I've had a satsuma, pear and apple, then for dinner made BBQ chicken with peas, carrots and sweetcorn. Not culinary genius, but nice and pretty healthy.

It's been a good food day. biggrin.gif

This morning was toast with peanut butter and saskatoon jelly. Tea for a change as I usually drink coffee.
Lunch was a shrimp ring I shared with three interested felines, BBQ potato chips and generic cola product.
Dinner tonight should be chicken wings, cut veggies and a pint of what they have on tap at the pub. Wing night at Killkenny's pub. biggrin.gif
No, I shouldn't be going. I should be studying as I've a scary final exam on Wednesday night.

I'm going anyway. tongue.gif

Hmmm. Turkey sandwich with mayo, spicy brown mustard, and swiss cheese. Oh, yes, and sliced pickles in there, as well. couldn't even tell it was processed turkey coldcuts... Then for supper, warmed over homemade Lasagna... washed down by Iced Tea and (Bum,Bum, Bum!) Cherry Coke. Iced sugar cookies for dessert.

Pumpkin pie and a cup of some very nice coffee a family friend shipped to us from someplace exotic...
(Here's a recipe that most people would shudder to try...Ma Peche (Dean, for The Lorax) invented it, and Veggie, Kel, and others have come to love it...personally, i wouldn't touch the stuff, but whatever...
Hot sauce (like tobasco sauce) mixed with Ranch dressing. Dean calls it 'Xtreme sauce', and he has made it abundantly clear that he will decapitate me if i share the recipe, so shhh!)

Candy canes. It's fun getting candy for Christmas from friends despite my religion. My friend Erin gave me a stocking with candy in it, and we were discussing how I didn't care. As she said, "Something with your name on it and candy is something with your name on it and candy." (the stocking had my name on it). I had lunch at McDonald's and that dinner thing... just about now. Mini-pizzas.
