I just finished bleaching my hair tonight, after four years as a bottle-black demi-Goth and abouut five minutes as a red-headed temptress of doom. And the results are quite frankly terrifying...here goes...

August of this year...relaxing by the pool in Greece sporting a rather fetching mop of raven-black locks...I was supposed to be growing the dye out but got fed up of the roots and had it done for my prom in June...

November...after a messy messy week where I bleached, dyed, re-bleached, and re-dyed my hair ending up with a patchy red/brown mix with a green/grey fringe I went to a hairdresser (a real one!) and had my hair chopped assymetrically and dyed pillar-box red...then tried to blend in at my little sisters play by wearing beige, it didn't work but my granny liked my top! Erk...

Today...about three weeks ago I had the rest of my hair chopped off and went bottle-blond for Christmas...oh how times change...can you tell I took this picture myself?

Cool colours. I got some info from Snoo recently as to the whereabouts of some *ahem* exotic colours, so I'm gonna go for "baby" pink at some point in the near future... Expect pics!

Yay! I missed out my pink phase cause it was only wash-in wash-almost-out. I still have a teeny patch of orange on top of my head tongue.gif

I like Directions hair colours, only thing is cause they're natural they don't have a specific length of staying on you head-ness. Just "semi-permenant"...and one dude I know went all mad blue and red after he'd had the purple ina while. Not to mention my boyfriends flatmate who is currently rather un-chuffed with his manly Gothic pink hair (heheh).

PS- I just noticed I seem to have discovered cheekbones since August, yay for me!

Don't tell anyone but I think they were Fallen Element's, he's been looking less bony of late. I think he's propping up his fast disappeaing skeleton with toothpicks but that's just a theory of course...

I was planning on dying my hair red yesterday but I can't afford to sad.gif

I'd love to bleach it and do it properly but I'm too scared of being left blonde with uber roots for ages (I still have bleached bits from when I did a section 18 months ago) so I'm just going to see how well it goes in Jan and maybe when I can afford it get it done professionally.

My hair has been pink, blue, purple, pinky purple, blue/black and green in the last 18 months... I should give it a rest, it's a bit dead!

my mom won't let me dye my hair - I love the black and red -- you should do a combo of both, or maybe black and blue or black and purple...hmmm...

That's why I kept my hair black for so long tongue.gif

I got bored though and wanted a change. the red was cool but not very me, I stood out too much and I don't like that. The blond is erm...wierd...I might get used to it, but I'll most likely streak it lots of different colours then dye it black again...all things work in cycles...not to mention the fact that if I dye it again any time soon it'll fall out just to spite me, it's been worryingly resilient so far...

They all look quite foxy to me. Blonde's actually a good color for you. Have at it.

Oh, and I had cheekbones once. I'm not sure where they went. Maybe they stayed at my highschool when I left because that's when I stopped seeing them.

Mine's been brown, blue, black, burgendy, and every shade of red that comes in a box. I'm going to give it a rest and then dye it blue. I don't mess around with anything else in my appearance, so hair colour's the only thing I have fun with. It amuses me more than it really should. I agree...you look nice blonde. Or at least, the short hair is flattering--you have nice cheekbones. ^^ But the black's cool, too, and if it's what you're most comfortable with, it's best.

I really like the black - I also think the red suits you very well.

Perhaps mostly black with big, chunky red streaks next time? smile.gif
