1. Stop biting nails.
So far so good.
2. Spend less money and start saving.
Bought 3 books and 1 pair trousers in sale, total cost 30. Set up monthly standing order of 50/month into new savings a/c.
3. Drink and eat sensibily.
Did not get drunk for new year as was driving, fridge has lots of lovely veggies in it, freezer has lean meat and loads of fish.
4. Take off make-up EVERY night before bed.
Forgot last night as got a little *ahem* distracted, but will try harder.
5. Keep house tidy and don't let it get in such a mess.
Plan to paint and sort out study in next few weeks, Xmas decs put away neatly in old shoeboxes not crammed into plastic bag like last year.
6. Sort out sleep pattern.
Bed by 11pm tonight, alarm set for 7:45am
7. Tell the 'woe is me' collective what you really think of the constant whining and sobbing.
In progress, even if I lose a few friends over it I can't cope with some people any more, and there is NOTHING wrong with them that a kick up the ass wouldn't cure, they do not have clinical depression they are just self pitying whingers.
8. Stop buying drinks for people who never buy them back
Worked out that about 4 people I know never ever get a round, but don't say no if you are buying
9. Start going to some sort of 'keep fit' type thing, possibly Pliates if I can find a decent class.
Egyptian dance classes start next week - humm...
10. Gain half a stone, and keep it on.
Currently about 6 stone (85lb) & want to be nearer 6.5 stone (90lb) Pass the cake!

I think that will do for this year!

1) surround myself with healthier people
Seems to be working out well...
2) find a good balance, so i can 'remember happily' instead of 'regret'
Wow, here's a real winner, i've already started off this year with a *bang*
3) lose a few lbs so i can be cute and petite like those iritating girls i see everywhere...
oh, god. i've set the stack against myself again
4) Stop playing so many videogames
Oh, no...i might as well just quit now...;_;

Biting my nails isn't a good habit, found myself doing that today. But I didn't have dessert after lunch which should help with my weight loss (losing enough to fit into some older clothes, maybe 5 or ten pounds.)

I can relate to that one.
I have seen this done while I was working with military guys:-
Man comes back from the bar with a dozen drinks on a tray.
Says to sponger, "Can you go up and pay for these because it's your round."

Mine resolutions:-

1) Lose 2 stone in next 3 months.

2) Finish the little sailing boat.
If you ever see a small catamaran with black and yellow horizontal striped sails you'll know I did it. come over and say hullo or hello.

3. Finish the garden. It slopes 1 in 4 so it's civil engineering really.

Umm... I know this is kinda spam so I'll have to make a resolution I guess, but how many pounds to a stone or kg I guess, I kinda understand the metric weight system, but I don't know how much a stone is.

My resolution is to leave my house at least once a day. I left it once today so I'm in good standing I guess.

1 stone (imperial) is 14 pounds.
its about 2 ponuds to the kilo, more or less.

& Tarentino, no I'm not 10, I'm just really small (5ft!)

but stones still gives a smaller number than pounds or kilos, so it sounds better regardless!

I vow to move out of the general area by next fall. This place is stunting my emotional growth and my personal development. I hate this town with a passion and need to break free.

My question is, where will I go to university? Either UCF or a college/university near Spiffy, I'm not sure.

1) Become less stressed by A ) not hanging onto things that are holding back just for reasons of comfort.
& B ) Managing to relearn how to be more chilled out and optimistic in life like I used to be.

You know I thought this one would be impossible, but so far it's working out, I smile or and am in a good mood almost everyday.. (Ok I cheated a little on this one since I technically started it before new year.. but still)

2) I'm skinny despite my attempts to put weight on.. and for a guy that apparently makes me unmanly tongue.gif
This year I choose to be alright with that, and not be so damn paranoid about it anymore, and next time someone says, "You're dumb for not liking being skinny", or "Guys look better with more weight", I'm gonna not care!

So far I've kept up this one, the real test is in summer however when the short sleeve t-shirts come out!

3)Get my head into my work more, and be more confident that I am actually pretty good at what I do, also.. as part of this, accept compliments about the work I do.

Again so far so good, I got to make sure I don't go the other way and get to big headed about things too however dry.gif

4)Watch a minimum of one movie a week at the cinema. The reason? I love films, I'm addicted to watching movies, the only thing that has stopped me before is not always having someone to go with. Last year my good friend said "why should that matter?" I didn't have an answer so this year I will!

So far so good, this year I have already seen the incredibles and the house of flying daggers, both of which I loved, strangely however I had company for both of those films. But I would have gone despite though!

That's all for this year.. so far so good!
