I've nursed patients who have fasciaiting necrotitis (flesh eater bug) and you are right little bear, it's an awful disease.

That it is. I've seen photos of one woman who's entire abdomen was exposed. Intestines and all. Plastic surgeons used skin grafts to repair the gaping hole, but as soon as she stood up it, well lets say it didn't hold together and I'll leave the rest to your imagination.

Fortunately, that particular patient survived, reconstructive surgery was a success and she now leads a full and active life. smile.gif

Eek poor lady, thats really horrible. One of the morticians in the hospital where i was a nurse caught it from a cadaver and he ended up dying.
